  • question matt, if im downloading torrents, how do i get it out of the sandbox?

  • Great set of videos thanks.

  • You are the best :D !! Super Videos !! 10/10

  • Dry Century or Drive Century?

  • thank you for you videos...

  • Is SandBoxie still 99.99999999% protection and does it work for 64-Bit?

  • Are you a computer cleaner person??? because most of your videos are all about malware and you are just great a reviewing software

  • thank you for your informative review, i defo learned a lot, you-tubers should learn to thank for videos people like you have put so much work into uploading. thank you

  • I wonder if you could run sandboxie in sandboxie and have sandboxie sandboxed...

Completely stupid question, I know but I'm stupid like that.

  • @Tekkenfreek234 Unfortunately no, Sandboxie has driver-level components that unfortunately can't be sandboxed. Try it! Try running C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\sbiectrl.exe (or wherever it's installed) in the sandbox and it should fail with a weird glowing yellow error message in the taskbar.

You can, of course, run Sandboxie in Windows in a virtual machine (and then another virtual machine, and so on) - Sandboxie is just a simple, crude, virtual machine in a lot of cases - and easier to use.

  • @Tekkenfreek234 Dude I was wondering the exact same thing, lol. It's like when you look at a mirror that's facing another mirror you get that trippy vortex effect. Totally stupid but these are the things I think of, lol.

  • @Tekkenfreek234

Thats not a stupid question! I was wondering the same thing before I figured out that you can just run sandboxie on a virtual machine. Of course you already know that 'cause x42bn6 answered your question. (you people are always a step ahead of me)

  • You can even use a sandboxed explorer to create and delete files/folders and then undo changes when you close the sandbox, or save changes.

  • which anti-virus software you have used is the best?...at the moment i use KAV 2010

  • Sandboxie is awesome and now works with 64-bit systems (with more limited functionality for security reasons). Still best to run it on a 32-bit system but if you gotta go do something dangerous Sandboxie will still be able to save you on a 64-bit system. *high five* for wonderful free products.

  • Sandboxie conflicts with Spyware Doctor, does it conflict with Avira or Avast?

  • CCleaner is awesome. I usually run it before starting to fix infected computers.

  • CCleaner deleted my Photoshop registration key

  • i would reccomend running this along with an antivirus program

  • Thank sooo much man! I had no idea how this program works !!

  • this is the best dude!!!! but i did not yet test it my self!!!!

  • If sandboxies were that popular nobody would use anti virus software but they are not.

    i dont trust them.

  • But then surely nobody would make any money off anti-viral software, meaning Norton would cryface.

Also, I think people would prefer the functionality of anti-viral software as opposed to trying to keep up with this. You'd need to be more computer literate to understand this.

  • dude!!!!!sand boxiie is power full!!!!!!!

the effect of this program is you wont be able to install or make a personal program imside a sand box because this is like a deep freez to avoid virus... come on give me a break!!!!

  • I am a little bit confused about the term "recover". Does it mean that I download a file using Sandboxie on to my computer and dragging the file out of the sandbox to somewhere else on the computer? Or, is that also a way of saying that the file downloaded will be safe from being deleted after the termination of Sandboxie?

  • yes its like dragging a file from sandboxie to your desktop. if you dont recover the file, it will stay in sandboxie until you delete it or recover(moving a file out of sandboxie)

  • u forgot to say about if u wanted to run a prog on ur pc u can right click on the program and click run in sandbox lol

  • how do you run other programs in sandboxie

  • hey mrizos i have a question. If you uninstall sandboxie while things are in the sandbox would they be able to run wild?or willl they be destroyed?

  • This is an awesome! prog, and no decrease in internet speed.

  • I see why Steve Gibson and Leo Laporte devoted an entire Security Now Podcast , singing the praises of this program!

  • Matt is cnet a good website to download

    anti virus ?

  • sure.

  • are you going to upload a threatfire review?

if only sanboxie was without the nag screen

  • I'm working on the threatfire review this week.

  • Kinda the sad thing is, if more people watched your videos they'd have a lot less malware!

I know the owner of a computer repair shop that wants to write a thank you letter to the creator of Antivirus Pro 2009 for all the money it's made him!! =)

  • lol

do have it letter if pm it to me

    lol

  • Agreed. Amazing product! Thanks for the review!

  • I'm hooked on sandboxie!

  • Sandboxie uses your default browser, so yes.

  • CCleaner is great. It can fix almost all the Windows errors

  • It's a nice little app.

  • is ccleaner better that tuneup uttilities?!?!

  • way better imo

  • Registry cleaners arent good

  • CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space.

  • As i understood, you can run any program with Sandboxie. Even another anti virus.

  • Correct.

  • nice video

  • thanks!
