come to think of it, ancient civilizations were very artistic and talented, so that means if the moai were made to resemble humans, they would look very different. if they made them accurately, then that means they were inspired by some kind of aliens.

Even though I am agnostic about aliens, pyramids around the world never fascinated me. It is simple logic.
The only shape that can be build into a large building without any binding substance (cement or clay) or support beams is a pyramid. No wonder we find that shape in ancient civilizations.
