Saw these last night and they were amazing. Just watching the drummer and bass player refuse to embelish on a perfect groove was brilliant.

It's like Suicide with guitars, bass and real drums (though I'm not sure if it's a compliment or not to say that the bass and drums sound almost like machines - but, then, that was often the case with the Velvets too... :) ).
