feeding the homeless only makes things worse. What you need to do is let them stay hungry and they'll want to change and better themselves. My propasal is we get rid of the soup kitchens and places like that so that we can get more homeless wantin to better themselves instead of being stuck in a trap.
Better themselves? You mean like somehow finding a job after being homeless for a number of years I take it. Not many people want to hire a homeless man or woman. While it's nice to help homeless people, the majority of the time, it's the person's fault for ending up that way. Why should US citizens pay taxes to help people who have thrown all of their money away on gambling or drugs.
I'm not saying that this is the case for all homeless people, but it's not a good idea to just give money away indescribably. Besides, there are already programs to help the homeless get back on their feet if they are willing to work.
Because homeless usually suffer from mental diseases, the most common being deep depression. Ask a psychiatrist about what depression prevents a normal person from doing and imagine what would it be in that state perpetually.
Like I said, not all homeless are the same, but quite a few end up on the streets because of their own actions. Believe me, I'm one of the first people to give money to help, but I'm just telling the truth.

Deep inside, most Americans know why people are homeless. And the truth is that most Americans are just a pay check away from homelessness themselves but they would rather deny it, which may TEMPORALLY make them feel better about themselves. It seems denial is better than cure but in the end, every one seems to fall to the same ditch.

that act by tom was done in good faith but lets look at reality. the workers who are inside are now thinking they are protected outside by officers of the law. 2. the homeless are now gonna tell there homelees buddies were they got free food. which equals a whole lotta confusion. NOTHING GOOD COMES FROM A LIE, NOTHING!!

In America, senile, senior and lonely disabled homeless people on wheel chairs are dying on streets, under bridges and skid rows of America, but no one will ever tell you that and no American would ever admit to it because America is ashamed to admit and own to it.
LET'S FACE IT, In America, the animals in the zoo are much more taken care off and live better than the senile, young and old disabled homeless people on wheel chair. Sorry but somebody has to tell the king is naked.

I understand what you are saying but, most young homeless kids are homeless because they had problems at home or they were to stubern to listen to their parents. I just want you to know that I do give money to the homeless only when they don't ask for it. I don't give money to those who stand all day long looking physically healthy with a sign that says "help feed my family". If you want to reply back please send me a message.
