Joe was like a prophet. To think he went from being a fucking grave digger to one of the most respected musicians the world has and will ever see is just amazing. In his 5 year tenure with the original line up of The Clash, he changed the way we see and hear music.

it seems Joe Strummer was a great people person generally intrested in the world community. Its a shame more people in this world don't have the time for the person on the street. over here in the uk there is alot of ignorance and dis-respect for your fellow human at the moment

to share a spliff with Joe...I was lucky enough to meet him in 2002 about a month before he died. I was a little 10 year old and he opened my eyes to just how wonderful life can be.
