@nork21 Basically theres special units with "anti tank" weapons that carry a special color and fill of a paintball and they have to hit one of the small targets on the tank. Once they have hit the target, they carry a flag and hail the driver where the driver inspects the hit and confirms it. That is how it is done at DDAY.

@jojojarom I think the most ever in attendance was a couple/few years ago and it was 5000 players (with 16000 people on site over the entire week). These videos are from 2010 when there was closer to 4000 players.

@FriedHippy as a matter of fact, his marker, hopper and tank cover are all dye brand. his gloves are empire brand. the guy on the left at the beginning has either a bt tippman a5 or a realy modified normal a5 cant tell lol guy on right at 4:39 has modified a5 but to look like mp5 at 5:38 army alpha black which is basically just a normal tippmans internals slapped into an m4 style body with a detachable mabazine that holds spare parts and manual etc., 6:06 bob long vice yea i know my s***

@FriedHippy just checked ebay lowest starting price is like 350, jacks up to much more than that. there is a buy it now for 425, but thats really low. either way I could tell from the video what gun it was without research, i did research to see what year model it was, though, plus ive never bought or sold a dye but i know that each year that they come out with a new one they start at about 1400 and assumed they retained their value well

Looked to me like you were just being cover fire most of the time. Never saw you get up close and personal. That's why I prefer Air-ball and smaller courses. I like it fast paced and dangerouse.

@TheGostofSparta Its an illusion of the camera. Basically you cannot see targets using that lens over about 25 feet away because of the angle. I have a narrower angle lens, which allows you to see more targets (farther away objects look closer in the video) but unfortunately they reduce your viewing angle alot (field of vision). Basically - I can tell you have never used a helmet mounted camera system before - cause - bottom line I was indeed slaying lots of dudes. :)

@KraiGx Most tanks have at least 2 HROF guns. Many are mounted in 360 degree turrets. 68 cal of course. Some tanks have flamethrowers which are basically pressure washers using red dyed paint. In the next segment of this series (Caen 4) there might be some footage of one of our tanks soaking two guys down that were holed up in the second floor of an enclosed tower on the far west side of Caen (near Caen flag #1).
