  • Oh wow, another argument about who ripped off who. That's new and original in itself!

  • Best gig of all time

  • @morvetti ...yes, how stupid would it be that a talented fan like Reznor, be inspired enough to start a band and help carry on with fresh sounds? BTW, RevCo would also be a 'Johnny Come Lately", according to your 'logic' (and they would be first to admit that, since it is a 'supergroup', duh!), just saying. douchebag, indeed!

  • Freaking kick ass shows back then. Uncle Al jorg, Luc and the boys..Awesome

  • you realize that NIN came out in the 80's

  • What the heck are they even saying half the time -.-

  • This video is so fing cool. Luc Van Acker is cool as hell.

  • there obviously is no doubt about the worlds best band ever. thanks

  • It wouldn't be industrial if there weren't überfans arguing about history of origin and rightful peers ;]

Great performance of one of the most mathematically rockin' songs ever recorded.

  • Roy Batty is a Martyr!!

  • luc van ackers stomach makes me..uh, retch...but the track is hot..

  • Oh boy, London Elektricity accidentally stole a song title.

  • yup.

  • Guauuu...|

  • I'm sorry, but Trent himself has said that he is so thankful that young kids have never heard Ministry or RevCo, because it makes him look that much more original. I like NIN, but old RevCo is the template from which most "modern" industrial is stamped.

  • Actually Throbbing Gristle and Kraftwerk are, RevCo were the first supergroup alongside Pigface, i love them all though

  • You have a point. All modern electronic music can be traced back to Kraftwerk. And, I know Al J loved Gristle and Caberet Voltaire, but as far as aggressive, distorted, angry modern industrial O think it all starts with Ministry and RevCo.

  • yeah true, but then there's that debate going on about whether Al J ripped off Steve Albini's Big Black and Killing Joke who were rockin hard industrial while Al was playing Depeche Mode covers (albeit good Depeche Mode covers)

  • Steve Albini called industrial "Donna Summer through a fuzzbox", which is hilarious. (I don't mind that comparison. I Feel Love is a techno masterpiece.) Albini always complained in interviews that Ministry ripped them off, but I think that's ridiculous. They don't sound anything alike. Al and Paul's programming and sampling were so much more interesting than Albini's or any of those other bands. IMO.

  • I understand completely where your coming from. I think the same thing, although the proof in release dates still proves that Albini (who IMO occasionally comes off stuck on himself) and Killing Joke were drawing the blue prints for what Al took and built a great career on. But hey, to me it's all good. Alot better than what we have right now.

Btw, forgot to mention, Cabaret Voltaire is fucking amazing shit!!

  • @setzerlock Steve prolly has an iPod filled with the sound of his own voice. On the other hand, probably not. iPods are too modern for Mr. Luddite.

  • i call it evil disco. lol

  • @skrason Well, that would explain why Revco are dressed like members of the Village People this video... That or they're just gay, I'm not sure which.

  • These guys gave me a bad case of tinnitus-I loved every minute of it!

  • holy shit the bass is so perfect I thought it was programmed until I saw the video.

  • man I used to listen to these guys 24/7. Thing I liked most is it was usually a mixture of several bands. ministry, revco, pigface, puppy. yes nivek did join on some tracks. Next to cattle grind this is my fav revco

  • who are the girls on this video

  • the revolting cunts!

  • No, they are the revco pussy girls. Patty Jourgensen was one of them See: Linger ficken good

  • LOL!!!!

  • just like Pigface. different people would show up all the time, some of the same that showed up for revco. those were the days, when puppy and revco were still new

  • ya. you are correct. they are the revolting pussies. i hadn't checked out that album in a good long time. off that tour was Louanne Ponder and Gina Tubetop. revolting cunts sounds better to me though.

  • Classic Revco! Awesome.

  • trent is what trent is, mainstream industrial, and he does it well. some of his stuff is pk, some of it not. its the type of music that you hear for a few times and its ok, then after a while you get burned out. REVCO on the other hand you can listen to it over and over and over. there's so much going on with it you can pick something new up all the time, and seeing them live is a different experience all together. REVOLTING COCKS... Greatly to be Praised!

  • hell ya my friend

  • I agree all this ta;l about trent vrs Al its bullshit, i remember buying 12in singles on als projects years before trent even came on the scene, but i really feel there both good very diferent. But sorry AL will always be the man to me.

  • fuck ya !!!!!!!!!!!

  • GesmtKunstWerkkk!!!!!!!!!

  • ... off the shoulder of orion

  • The Keyboard player is "Chris Conelly" ....Trent only did the B,S &Q tour

as my replacement.... I like my stunt doubles!

    Luc Van Acker

  • You're cooler and have a much more interesting discography than Trent anyway :)

  • seems you got a stalker Luc :P

you kicked ass a few weeks back in Lier

  • no one can replace you. REVCO in its original forms is arguably the greatest rock show ever to exist. Cocked and Loaded was great, but gratefully you returned. Your solo work is also fantastic

  • Yes the first line up was the best and the tour, man i feel old but they were just amazing. Luc is very cool wasnt richard 23 in the first line up, at least on record.

  • Well, Luc is an excellent guy. Nice to see him starring in this video!

  • Yep, watched it again in higher resolution and that is definitely Trent Reznor hitting dem synth keys, yo!

  • that's chris connolly not trent.

  • thank you....

  • someone somewhere wake me up!!

  • Is that Trent Reznor playing keyboards?

  • that might be ogre idk. this is like a year before nin began

  • Are you aware that Trent Reznor joined Revco during Beers, Steers & Queers Tour which was about a year and change before Pretty Hate Machine broke? Therefore, that must be a young Trent hitting those synths...it's got to be.

  • PHM was already out and he toured as opener for Peter Murphy. I saw all these tours. I do not recall Trent being with RevCo prior to BS&Q (1990). I'd bet the guy you all think is Trent is really Richard 23. I am fairly certain he was on this tour.

  • fuck reznor

that emo thief. grow up& learn what's real.

OK!now don't go cry'n and cut'n yourself to sleep, now that you know the trendy truth.

  • no fuck you asshole...Reznor is the King of Industrial rock...period

  • are you on your period?

  • well said

  • that would be skinny puppy, in my opinion.

  • lol, old posts are fun to reply to! :D

also, reznor is great. just not industrial. hes watered down industrial alternative. check out Front 242 and :wumpscut:

  • amen

  • muahahahaha!

    revco babeeeee!

  • It's Luc Van Acker..Luc-Luc Van Acker. Wow.

  • JESUS! does al have short hair??! JESUS!

  • cool vid GREAT QUALITY!
