I don't see your video as a video response. Believe me, I look at every video response that comes through the challenge. I wouldn't discount anyone just because I want to because I made this challenge so that we could have as much participation as possible.

Are you sure you submitted your video as a response to this one? We should get this hashed out because I'm not here to include and exclude random people.

Damn, my video has 600 views, which would have been enough to win in the first 2 weeks but now somebody else has 700?

I really don't understand how he got that many because my video has 10 times as many ratings and comments as his one.

That's really disappointing. :(

I hope the view counts are showing the right numbers because to be honest I can hardly believe that this can be true.

view count on youtube is often bugged, your vid probably got a lot more than his, if you compare ratings, comments, subscribers and channel views he can not possibly have won this...

but there are some tools that can generate fake views for you, so he might have done that

Hey guys,

In the blog post (linked in the sidebar) it said that this challenge would run until this morning at 9am.

I know it was started on Wednesday last week, but that was because my computer was acting up and I couldn't get it uploaded until then :(

I'm sorry to say, but I'm closing the contest for this week. In the future, I'll do a better job at making sure the date for the end of the competition is clearly stated in as many channels as I can (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Blog, etc).

Can people actually win this competition unlimited times?

For example if somebody had an account with a ton of subscribers he could easily get the most views every week leaving the others no chance to win.

Possibly, but we haven't seen that happen. The highest number of views someone has gotten (in the first two weeks as I haven't looked at it this week) is 568.

These challenges are more about having fun with other Need for Speeders, so if something poses a problem, we're open to suggestions on how to improve it. We're constantly thinking of ways to improve it, but if you think you've got a good idea, feel free to let me know :) You can find my email in the blog post I link to in the sidebar!

You will probably need some recording software like Fraps or gamecam.

Use whatever you can get your hands on! We have people submit using a digital camera :) Just make sure the track, car and lap time is displayed :)

The challenge is this: who can get the top lap time given the car and track used in the above video :) That's not all we're focusing on though!

You can win by random draw (so simply responding with a video), or you can win by having the most views of all the video responses!

Mainly, it's here to have fun and add another element of competition to the game, specific to YouTube!
