@iLICKfencesLOL Before the gate drops only about half, just so the bike revs are high and reving cleanly, after the gate drops its pinned depending on the traction of the track that day.
c when i take a corner wich way is better to speed up to it and brake in the corner or bside the corner and accelorate out please tell me i ride a ktm 65cc 2008 message me back
what you do is hammer down until your like ten feet away from corner take it easy now when you almost get in the end of corner slam back brake slide out and then full throttle
Go the fastest you can until you reach your braking point (which you have to determine during practice for each corner, the last spot you can start braking the hardest you can and still slow down enough for the corner) brake standing up, with your weight slightly back, as you reach the point where you want to start accelerating (usually before the apex of the corner), put your inside foot/leg forward with your foot pointing forward THEN move your body forward into the seated cornering position
with your elbows out (this should become a fairly fluid motion but put your leg forward first), as your bum hits the seat you start accelerating with your elbows out (the elbow thing is important to keep your weight over the front of the bike in the corner). The point at which you sit/accelerate depends on the corner, the tighter the corner, the closer to the apex generally. The only time I would slide out into a corner is if you are trying to cut a ccompetitor off.
You should probably go the four stroke, once you get used to it they are easier to ride, less tiring, and faster. I didn't say they were as much fun or powerful though.
No, not really, they don't have the acceleration or suspension of the motocross bikes, they are a great bike though, with far less maintenance than a motocrosser, I was going to get my son one when he was younger.
nice job!!! u are allot better and faster than me too. i have a kx65cc and im 12 turning 13. its to small for me and i want a 125. but im not sure if i will fit on it tho. im 5'3 and 126 pounds??? should it or not??
I think you'd be a bit better suited to a big wheel 85 or 150 for a year or two, have a look at my son on his 150RB, he's 4'11 and 95 lb, the weight limit on the 150 is 150 lb. I think you would ride better on one too.
wow i am 13 and he would smoke me and i ride crf150r lol and i love all his riding vids keep up the good work!!

little help i i have a ktm 65 too but people say i have to feather the clutch in corners how do i do that????
ktmracerusa 2 years ago
Feathering or riding the clutch is holding it in slightly to keep the revs up, but if you select the right gear you shouldn't need to.

hey could a yamaha 2007 ttr-90 have a chance at winning in a 65cc race?
duzerno 2 years ago
No, not really, they don't have the acceleration or suspension of the motocross bikes, they are a great bike though, with far less maintenance than a motocrosser, I was going to get my son one when he was younger.
DogsinSpace1 2 years ago
so there is no chance in winning
duzerno 2 years ago
Well there are variables, if the TTR90 was modified or the rider was better, sure, I guess, but generally not.
