why do you need the corn or other medium? isnt the alcohol made from yeast eating the sugar and shitting out alcohol? so its yeast/water/sugar........why corn or grass?

Hey man using water that has been purified through reverse osmosis lacks alot of key nutrients that are actualy benificial for yeast production. I've seen your process though and it doesn't seem to effect much.

Is -this- your Mash video? Or is there another showing the tubs you use and putting the glove on it. Is that glove used as a balloon? When it starts to inflate you know it has matured? If you have another, more in-depth video, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

dont use the corn meal use the sugar only if u use the corn meal its only a waste of food the corn meal has to turn in to a sugar its oly a starch

Pete i was having a idea of making small trailers and droping them off at the food stores i shop at and having them fill the trailers with bad food they cant sell . I think this is the way of the future. I think the Big Fuel stations will have competition . The cleaner fuel is better for your car too.

Hi mixcatom, whould it be possible to give more details a) on the amounts of yeast (as well as type of yeast, is it the one we use to make bread?) and water. Is it all 5 lbs? and b) is this alcohol pure ethanol or a mixture of alcohols from the fermentation? i.e. is it drinkable? How do you know what type of alcohol is is since you didn't mention anything about the boiling temperature? Great info, thanks. Please reply. Nicos

the town i live in i can get all the yard grass n wood chips i want . It can be fermented too. I Bet we will see many small fuel stations in the future making their own fuels .

Im not sure exactly what happened. But if I ran it through my video editor Pinnacle Studio Ultimate it would have fixed it.. I think I had to many things open also.
