P.ersonal S.tuff: I think the reason I love Hole so fucking much is because i discovered them when i was passing the roughest time of my life (so far) and I related so much to the songs. Thats what makes hole so fucking awesome most of us young girls relate to a lot to their lyrics, because she talks about bullying , love and loneliness and all that shit. Conclusion, anyone who listened to Hole on their teens will always love this band.

Courtney has a style of writing, her songs always have so much imagery in them. There are reoccurring themes in her songs, Hole's lyrics are SO MUCH different than Nirvana's. Kurt sang some backup vocals and he played the bass in a Miss World demo, he didn't WRITE any of the lyrics. That's just so stupid and ridiculous. Don't believe everything that kids tell you, actually look at the lyrics, look at her early work, look at the notes she'd fax to Kurt and her concert flyers, Courtney is a poet.

Look at Pretty On The Inside, Courtney has a specific way of writing her lyrics, if you had half a brain you'd be able to tell. Look at the concert flyers she'd make back in 1990, with scribbles of lyrics on them ("I'm the girl with not soul, I'm the girl on death row, one above and one below.").
