Thank you so much Christyna! This song was a request and I didn't know how else to approach it except in an "what if Mick didn't walk back through the door" kind of way. I'm glad you enjoyed the end. I was trying to show Mick thinking back on his time with Beth. You have no idea how tempting it was to NOT have him go back to her at the end but I think it's better this way. Making this was pretty depressing and made me really appreciate the fact that he did go back.
