very cute!! maltese make such great companion dogs. they look like teddy bears :)) how long do they live on average? 17 human years is a LONG time for this breed or any dog breed actually

She sounds just like my grandma's dog Penny. She's a Papllion. I bet they'd be great friends, how old is Sophie?

@no1puppyfan I bet they would be great friends, unless Penny tried to take Sophie's ball. LOL I think Sophie is around 7 years old.

@merigrace1 Penny isn't much of a "ball" kind of dog. But, she LOVES to dig around in her bed and knock all of her pillows out!LOL! If I ever have my camera when going to my grandma's house, I will make a video of it. Penny was born in 1994 and that would make her 17 years old. They'd still be AWESOME friends because Penny is VERY friendly unless some one pulls her ears or tail.
