  • I recently became a fan of Kagrra. From the first second I heard their music, I was in love with them. I kept hoping that maybe sometime in the future they would come together and hold a world tour for their fans, and I swore if they did, I'd go. Then I found out about Isshi. I can't really hold my tears back much longer.

    RIP Isshi..

  • I found somewhere from searching high and low that he died from internal brain hemorrhage. That doesn't mean he was head banging, because I highly doubt he would do that, and it doesn't mean someone whacked his head repeatedly, it can be a genetic thing, which is terrible!

  • @XxMiYachanEvansxX Reminds me of a similar and unexpected cause of death for Kami of Malice Mizer. If that's the case, then that's a scary and tragic coincidence =\ I'm sure it it wasn't something that had been noticeable and building up as I'm sure it wasn't, something like a hemorrage sounds about right...

  • @Azarathsflamee Yes, it's a shame, but I also think it was something that wasn't noticable and didn't build up over time, but was more quick and so sudden. Poor Isshi.

  • had they revealed the couses of his death?? I DEMAND TO KNOW BECAUSE IF HE WAS MURDERED!!! THAT MOTHER FUCKER BETTER BE PREPARED FOR MY REVENGE!!

  • @drazapatos Sadly no, and I don't really ever expect them to, to be honest =\ They always say "When the family is ready, they'll reveal the cause of death", but it never happens. I've been waiting for an answer for Versailles' bassist, Jasmine You's death as well. It's frustrating, but in the end, it will just go as an unexplained tragedy

  • 素敵な歌と思い出を有難う あなたのことを一生忘れません

  • Master...Rest in peace !

  • RIP Isshi.

  • 安らか眠れ・・・いっしさま・・・(RIP Isshi...) kagrraが僕の一番好きでした・・・

  • Isshi passed away and it fucking killed me. It was so heartbreaking to hear that yet ANOTHER J-Rock legend died. This is horrible. Saddest news yet again. At least he can join Hide-san in the skies. Damn I miss this guys. Had the priviledge of meeting Hideto Matsumoto once when I was only 11 years old. Damn.... It sucks so much to hear another star stopping to shine.... Music is dying.... A very miserable death....

  • @MrPavelSan o-0 You met Hide when you were 11? Holy crap, you're dedicated! I have the same vision, of all of the deceased J-rockers coming together in the heavens and making music for all of eternity. Hopefully, though, music isn't dying with them =\

  • @Azarathsflamee I met him completely by accident. My parents went to a rock festival in Japan, and he was their signing autographs. So my family came closer to him (and they don't even know the guy), and asked for a autograph for me. He talked to me in English, but my English was horrible back then so all I could do is shake my head up an down for "yes" and left and right for "no". I knew him just a bit (my friends introduced me to J-Rock and X-Japan...)

  • @Azarathsflamee So basically, I already knew what band he has connection to. Unfortunately I didn't meet the others. But it was a complete priviledge for me to meet him. And to this day I remember that day as if it was yesterday.

  • @MrPavelSan Wow, how lucky are you o-o That's so cool! I'm glad you remember it all so vividly, it's certainly a memory you wouldn't want to forget. Also cool that your parents were into Japanese Rock (I could only wish that for my parents hahaha)

  • Japanese music will never be the same without kagrra...much less Isshi. I've been a hardcore fan since 04' and to hear something as heartbreaking as this ...well i literally cried. This year has not been a good one for Japan, with so much tragedy, so much death...but this only drives the Japanese to work even harder to bounce back, create a better, stronger country. Gamabare Nippon! Rest in Peace, Isshi-sama...you will be sorely missed.

  • This is really a sad news. :(

  • As I see it, your words don't lose their meaning beacuse they're written. what you say come from somehwere deep down, it is true and impressive.

I have lost a family member almost two years ago. it's still not finished for me. so..."I am sorry" or "my condolences" wasnt really what i wanted to hear in the beginning, so I wont say that now.

Just...family, friends, fans, all of them equally important in their ways, my thoughts go out to you.

  • @DeepwaterHORIZONvids I guess not. I just didn't want it to seem like since it was through a meh-movie maker slideshow that I didn't care or have sympathy for the stuation, because Isshi really was a great talent lost. I hate when people say that to me too, though I do like "I'm sorry for your loss" better because I am sorry that someone lost someone close to them. I think just reflecting on the person's memory and saying that their thoughts are with you is more meaningful than any "I'm sorry"

  • Okay, why are musicians (not just in Japan but all over the world) dieing on us? Seriously who's next? Another member from the PS company? A member from Dir en grey maybe? Why are all these great and talented people dieing, when we got other people in the world we would be better off without, you know? I have admittedly been keeping my eye on the Diru members since 2010 after all the deaths that were going on, all I can say is let it all out, keep strong and look back on the happy moments. hugs

  • @CrazyCookieMonster6 I know! I'm shocked with how much tragedy's been going on with J-rockers. Not a good year for Japan </3

  • @Azarathsflamee *hugs* I know sweetie, I didn't really listen to their music but that dosn't mean I don't know great talent and feel horrble now its gone. Chin up, I was at a funeral today for a lovely old biddie and she was amazing, one of her sayings was 'Just because people are gone from our lives does not mean they are lost forever' It is terrible and he will be greatly missed, but we've got to look forward to new people with great talent too and the greats that are still with us.

  • @CrazyCookieMonster6 Aww I love everything about what you wrote *hugs* you're totally right, but it still sucks. I'd love a world where no one dies, but when I hear about all these musicians dying, there's not only grieving for their friends and family, but their fans too. I don't want people to be sad, and all of the stuff that's been going on in Japan especailly with the earthquakes is just a lot to take in =\

  • @Azarathsflamee Yeah, it's horrid, but if there's one thing the Japanese are known for it's their perserverance (spelling?) While I really do feel for Japan (the one contry I will visit before i die haha) I know they will get through it. We all will.

  • @CrazyCookieMonster6 its ok. please just enjoy what you can get for this moment. jumping ahead will only make your head spin. its true that musicians have a short life span no matter the age. you just need to know that even if something you love dies, you can always hold it close to you in your heart forever. i know it sounds cheezy but it works for me.

  • Thank you so much for your video. Even if your video makes me really sad I am still happy you put in the time to make it. I have been a really big kagrra fan for years. I saw them at their 10th anniversary concert and at their final concert. Having them break up and then this..... It is very harsh indeed. I am still really upset about it. RIP Isshi. You will live in the hearts of fans forever.

  • @RinjiRu84 Of course! I'm not a hardcore Kagrra, fan but I know he deserves respect and love where and when it's due <3

Sounds like you were a big fan of him and Kagrra, though. I can't imagine how hard this is for the fans...

  • Just to let you know that I am very glad you made this. It's very nice to see people giving respect to such a talented individual. It's not just young fans either.

In my American college, my Japanese professor has our exams password protected so we have to show up in class to get the password to take our online exams. The test we had today had the password "kagura, isshi" - even the least likely people you'd think respect him - isn't that fucking awesome?

  • @muyo613 I wish I could've showed more respect than a slideshow with some words x.x But he's a Visual Kei legend, he deserves respect.

Really? o-0 Wow, that's wicked awesome! I'm glad that people are showing respect and condolences

  • WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I couldn't believe myself when I heard this news !! R.I.P. TTT^TTT

  • I found out yesterday on Facebook... I was so sad that ruined my entire day :( R.I.P isshi

  • Isshi R.I.P :,) You were a wonderful vocalist.

  • His solo single never came out TT^TT. it was planed to be released on Sep 11 2011....

  • @LonewolfwRuki o-0 It didn't? Wow, that's really unfortunate. Maybe they'll release them sooner now, but thanks for clarifying that, I had no idea ._.

  • @Azarathsflamee they are still selling it on his web site so i can only i will get to hear it all soon.. you are welcome

  • @Azarathsflamee you are welcome but i was wrong on the date it is 9-9-11 and i think it is coming out because they are still selling to on his site

  • Never saw this coming. I found out a couple of hours ago. It breaks my heart. Kagrra was one of the reasons I fell completely in love with Japanese music back in the early 2000s. You changed my life for the better. I'm sad to see you go. Rest in peace, Isshi sama. You will be missed by more people than you will ever know.

  • Isshi... he will be missed and remembered by us. I love his voice, he is an amazing, talented singer. He... Isshi... I... I hope him the best in heaven. He will find peace up there.

  • Oh my gosh!

    Nooo!..D:

    I cried aswell..meh..

    This is so unfair!..TT.TT

    <33

  • Please, please, please!!!! Tell me it is not true!!!!!!!

  • I cried as I read this and cried even harder from thinking about Taiji Sawada who also passed away on July 14th

  • @XJapan8490 That's also what had me so upset, all of these legends, these people who made Japanese Rock what it is today, dropping like flies for no unexplained reason, and so suddenly. It's such a cruel fate for J-rock and its fans in 2011...

  • @Azarathsflamee Its so sad, you see them performing and you think that they are very healthy until poof they pass away with no one telling us how and why cause us fans should at least find out how he passed away.
