@funfactory123 No, CS practitioners charge just under $700 a month for what they call "round-the-clock treatment." Seeing a doctor monthly & oftentimes getting medicine does not cost even nearly that much.

@funfactory123 The Bible claims that Jesus said; "The works that I do shall ye do also," but the point is that I would not bank on the fact that I, you or a CS Practitioner can save me or my child from permanent affliction, disability, death or spreading communicable diseases if either of us had signs & symptoms of serious disease. Jesus turned water to wine, paid the rent with money found in a fish mouth. So if a CS Practitioner can't do those silly things, why trust your precious LIFE to them?

I just did a search of the bill and there is nothing in the bill about paying for prayer. If some one can point me to the part of the bill that states this, please do. But my searches of "prayer" "Christian Science" "spiritual healing", "religious", "religion", all came up blank.

The health care system in Canada is hardly spectacular, and there are longer waiting lines and less supplies each year now. Its noticeably getting worse.

Last time I had to take a friend to the hospital in the middle night (one of their deadest times) I had to wait nearly 6 hours to see a doctor and 3 more hours before we left.

It's getting utterly insane.

Document this? This is pretty common knowledge in Canada. Services vary on where you live. But in all cases "hours" of wait time is most often involved.

I like "free" healthcare believe me. Even though I realize it's not really free. I do honestly wonder about sustainability when every year it gets worse and that's after multiple HUGE cash infusions of money.

Is free possible? Sure, but the debt burden is giant. The US is going broke and even Canada can't seem to afford it.

You don't really understand what money is. Money is anything we trade with one another in fair exchange. So even if we didn't have pieces of paper, only food, then we'd trade food with one another so each of us could get a proper diet.

A complete altruist would give away all the food he could, but if he was starving, he would need to save some or die. People are people, and you'd end up with the same problems.
