FYI people. 1970-1972 Z28's had LT-1's in them. They just had lower compression ratios in '71 and '72. In 1973 and 1974 they were called L82's with a hydraulic cam. Check out nastyz28.com as it's very informative.
Umm... You do know that that 1970 Camaro z28 didnt come with a LT-1 right? They didn't even have vortec engineered yet let alone any of the LT or LS motors. haha
All 1970 Z28's came with the "LT-1". Notice the dash between the the 'T' and the '1'. The 1970-1973 LT1 had the dash, the 92-97 LT1 didn't. When you see the dash, you know it's an old school LT! :-)
I hope you don't think i'm talking about the '92-97 LT1? LOL. Im speaking of the original 370hp "LT-1" 350 solid lifter motor that could be had under RPO-option ZR1 in 1970. T'was a very solid and powerful small block, nothing crappy about it.
Needs some more rear tire. But very nice

You are thinking of the LT1 not the LT-1.....GM began re-using engine names in the 90s.....like LS6, LT1, L76, L98, etc.

What makes you think that is even an LT-1 car? If they molested an original LTt-1 car like that, they should be slapped.

Simply because it's a Z/28! All Z/28's from 1970-1973 came from the factory with the 350ci LT-1 and nothing else. :-)

@N20LT4 My 71 camaro came with a 307ci :(.....but quickly swapped for a 383ci
