  • What a just do it at 2:59!

  • I think Ryu messed up badly. I think he isn't used to playing against Chun-Li also. Doing Jab Shoryukens and getting punished. Bleh.

  • That chun player is fucking class. He completely out skilled kaqn

Didnt seem like he was at full force though

  • This Ryu player needs to use his vengeance meter attacks. It's there for a reason. It's sad because he/she is very very skilled.

  • It's there for what reason? Just using it because it's there is not a good idea...you need to find the right time and it's difficult to find good opportunities against players of this high caliber.

  • It's true using specials against skilled players can be a risk, but REALLY skilled players can control their opponents to a certain degree. You try to put them in a position where it works, the person who played Ryu started to do it at the end with the red fire ball followed up by the vengeance meter; however Chun li was putting Ryu in those situations throughout most of the fighting.

Not using it is the worst thing you can do, you can't save the veng meter for next round.

  • Hayse, I only found four times where Ryu could have pulled off his Ultra. At 0:30, looked like Ryu was going for Shoryu FADC Ultra but got stuffed. At 1:06 where he could have FADC the Shoryuken into Ultra and 1:08 where he could have done the same instead of that combo. At 2:02 when Chun jumped in, Ryu could have Shoryu FADC Ultra. Other than those times, I don't see how he could have possibly pulled his Ultra in the situations he was in. Finding opportunities is hard or making them.

  • Play me sometime and I'll show you how to use the vengeance. lol

  • Unfortunately, you won't be able to create those opportunities against players of this caliber, which is what I said before.

  • you're assuming I'm not that good, well you haven't seen me play. I'm not saying Im the best, but I can go up against these players confident in winning against them.

because you doubt your capabilities doesn't mean you should doubt others.

  • You cannot go up against these players, especially not against Kaqn. Kaqn is an SBO player that's been playing games in hardcore competitive environments for about 10 years or more.

  • Whatever guy. Clearly the last bit of the last reply didn't get through to you. Alas, there's no reason of carrying on this little discussion at this point. It'd be like a parent trying to reason with a child throwing a temper tantrum, just won't happen.

  • It's not like there's a point in me reasoning with a delusional person either.

  • @Hayse1q1 There's always one of you wannabe "pro" people that appear in these type of video's. With the usual retort of oh, you don't know me, you haven't seen meeee play. Why don't you reach a state like the top players and actually play in a top teir tournament like this, then you can talk. ;D

  • @Hayse1q1 lol... against japanese players??.. are you idiot or something

  • @Hayse1q1 I don't think you know what you're talking about. In any fighting game, any sort of super will have a lot of recovery frames, which means you will whiff it and get punished. Pretty much if you throw out some random ultra and you miss, the other player will get a free shot at you, commonly an ultra in return or an even more devastating combo. These are Japanese players, players that Americans hope to even come close to how good the Japanese are. They are just plain out better than you.

  • The announcer pronounced her name "Choon-Li" and it makes me wonder if I, along with everyone else for that matter, have been pronouncing it wrong all these years?!?!

  • @Doberboy218-That's how the Japanese and the announcer pronounce it.

  • @beybladestar Oh ok thanks.

  • Great Chun Li Player. They did a really good job with Chun Li's animation, all her moves are drawn very elegantly.

  • Extreamly good Chun-Li player i think, good 10 hit during the first round that i think spooked the Ryu player. :)

  • hahaah the announcer says "violence is a beautiful thing!" at the end

  • Yeah I know that caught me off guard LMAO.

  • People are really starting to grow into Street Fighter IV. At first, I thought it was kind of slow and simplistic compared to Street Fighter III (especially Third Strike), but now it's really catching up. The music's not nearly as good as III though.

  • Same here, I didn't feel that excited about it at first until maybe a week ago.

  • yeah the combos are coming along nicely. And they put a little less emphasis on turtle specials recently (it seems).

  • People are starting to see how deep the combat is compaired to III. There are a lot of different playstyles viable now instead of the normal pske games and D+FP-Super

  • Nice.
