I was there. Van Halen was fantastic, but the sound mix on some of their songs just wasn't right. I mean, the crowd just overpowered the band. It was like trying
to listen to a wall of noise. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I'm glad I was there!
ed i love you like im your son, you have many sons of the 80s, not sounding weird but i love you, bought all of your albulms in the 80s and told everyonne i knew to listen to your guitar playing! you are my dad of the 80s i wouldnnnt be here if it wasnt for your guitar, you helped me thru many tuff times, god speed my friend always!
he is the king, always will be, there are vids on you tube of ed when hes had too much to drink , or whatever , but i tell you what, when hes sober nobodys better!
Im not sure dude, I know he used an ecoplex back in the day. Everytime I have seem him kick into a pedal its all one color with nothing on it and he has masking tape over it stating what he uses it for. The pedal he kicked just has Cathedral written on it. Ed is awesome!
dude i was here, best show ive ever seen, and i also saw them at greensboro, both awesome shows. I wish he wouldve done 316 at this show. Oh well, this show was the best!
Wisec4g i dont think the original frankenstrat works any more or so i was told but he has replicas and he never used one in this consert. i was there but still a good show
he buried his black and yellow (bumble bee) guitar with dime. he used his real frakenstein during this tour (Little Guitars and Jump). the replicas was used for sell
they are awesome, went to see them in charlottesville, i live in NYC, i'd see them at the garden but its sold out, so i might go to atlantic city to see them again. greatest show ive ever seen!
yo im seeing them at the garden on the 23rd and i just bought my tickets last week. i just checked ticketmaster and they still have tickets for 1 and 2 people, but im glad i got my 4 tickets when i did. but yea, check again its not sold out as of now
Glad you enjoyed it. Seeing them again made me feel like it was 1984 again. I loved the show. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it too. From one VH fan to another, enjoy...
Just went to the Raleigh concert last night, absolutely fantastic man, thanks for the vid of the latest version. Only thing I didn't like was the weird bridge part he did in the middle with the real instrumental tone and the echo, wasnt for me.
Great vid, thanks for posting. It clear that Edward has cleaned his act up again. I know he's just repeating his old solo spot from the last 20 years but such a pleasure to hear him play so lucidly. Cathedral was a thing of beauty.
