Mac has a pretty Icon dock and user interface. PC has an awesome user interface and everything else. I use the terminal on mac to compile *.cpp files, and I have my terminal open at startup, then I customized it to be hidden from the hidden from the dock but always running and i can call it down...quake style form the top of the screen when I press a specified hot key.

to settle this debate, a mac can do everything a pc can, there is more choice of those function on a pc, and generaly you can get a cheaper pc. my pc is new and i found it cheaper than the mac equiverlent (just me). so basically you might as well get a pc, it's cheaper for the same thing. i will agree some macs look nicer than some pc's, no doubt, but if i had the choice between a top mac and a top alienware, it would be alienware. i'm not saying macs aren't good, you just get more from a pc.

While your comment, is in essence true. The only reason being, is that hackers do not consider MAC's to be worth the effort. Yes they do both indeed get virsuses, but the majority only infect PC's.
