  • I've just listened two other female operatic singers.. they were great... but Barabar's rendition is still the best. But then I've been a fan of hers for all of my life!!

  • It is deja vu all over again. Jews, it is time to come home while you still can. Join us on the front lines -- there is no safety guaranteed anywhere else. Use whatever God gave you, serve with strength and honor, and it will be better this time.

  • this song is created i think at world war 1, when hitler was born and narzi is dominance

  • This is so moving it breaks my heart.

  • Very heart wrenching and beautiful. We must stand by Israel and her God.

  • Very beautiful We must never forget.

  • from Jose....Let us be ever vigilant. We cannot EVER allow such a thing to occur again. Whatever it takes, we have prevent such inhumanity from again rearing its monstrous head. The world can't stand by and watch another Holocaust happen. If we do, I despair for the human species as a whole. Stand.

  • Oh my God - I just cried and cried, I didn't know. We can never let anything like this happen ever again. I'm not a religious person, but I believe in the good within all of us. I see some blaming religion, but is it a crime to believe and hope and have a focus for such? No my friend, the problem lies within us all, with intolerance and hate, but with hope, love and our beliefs, whatever they may be; there is another way...

  • yes jews turn away from united state , its just show the rue face of united state .

  • Religion IS the problem. As soon as people realise that there is no god, the world will be a more peaceful place.

    Great song though... love Streisand

  • @piccanninni

I've been searching for God in all my adult life and I am 70. I think there is a high probability that God exists. The problem is that organized religions and their fetishes fould up humanity. Quoting Neil Walsch " if each religion can admit that theirs is not the only way", then I think we will have peace.

"Somewhere" by Streisand is very special for me ans similarly a quote by B. Shaw(?):

"Some look at the world and ask why?

and I dreamed of a world, and ask why not?"

  • Religion IS the problem. As soon as people realise that there is no god, the world will be a more peaceful place.

  • fine work of art-

  • The Germans had agents in Cuba at this time and throughout the war. They say the mayor of Havana was a big Nazi sympathizer.

  • Like if you came here because of DUCKSAUCE

So ruff bayba bayba bayba, so ruff barbra barbra barbraaa

  • barbra streisand, du du du du du du du

  • Music by Leonard Bernstein. Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. This recording sung by Barbra Streisand.

  • if it happened the way inglorious basterds did, maybe id be okay with it.

not rly though. long live the jews, and every other religion for that matter. whatever floats your boat, im not going to mass murder your people.

  • RIP

  • Never Again! Peace on earth!

Thank you for sharing this video.

  • there is a time when no words have to be said this is one, listen and lean, thank you ,albertdiner your friend

  • Un gran homenaje para todas las victimas de la más cruda e inimaginable matanza nazi. Gracias por tan bello video!!! estoy emocionada!

  • Haunting. Thank you for sharing.

  • Made me cry. Our family had distant relatives who surely died in the Shoah. My late father-in-law rescued 10 Hungarian Jews from a ditch and shot a Nazi who refused to give them water. Never again! May Hashem bless Israel and the world with peace.

  • Kittsee, would it help if I told you I live in Israel?

Please trust in this sovereign state, its citizens & its army & its government.

The Jews will always be blamed & hounded, thats a fact of life.

    Israel is here to stay.

  • May FD Roosevelt & all his anti-semitic administration, his two cowardly Jewish advisors Dr. Steven Wise & Samuel Rosenman, and Father Couglin, Henry Ford etc., burn in hell for ever for denying Jews refuge in America, even those with visas. Had America taken in even only 250,000 Jews between 1933 & 1945, instead of only 40,000, maybe the Holocaust wouldn't have happened. Even Britain took in more...90,000, although it didn't allow refugees into palestine. For that it lost its empire

  • Barbra is the voice of our time for more than a half century. Her voice relates to all time, and thanks to David Foster for his amazing producing of this Bernstein legacy. These photos should remind everyone of all faiths that only holding hands toward peace will bring humanity to an ounce of peace.

  • Thank you so much for putting this together. It is so moving. My father is a survivor of the SS St. Louis and speaks about his experience as often as asked. We must not forget!

  • RIP jews and all people

MURDERED for being just them :(

    people are so cruel sometimes

  • Many jews don`t support Israel`s criminal actions against Palestinians

  • 911insidejob81 Many Arabs & other Moslems support Arab/Moslem criminal actions against Israelis,& have done so since 1929 when incited Arab mobs tortured, raped & butchered 100s of native Jewish men, women & children whose families had lived in Hebron & Safed for centuries, even millenia. Arab/Moslem love of murder & mayhem against Israelis/Jews continues. Since the Oslo 'peace' accords, Arab terrorists have murdered at least 2000 Israelis, mainly civilians, & wounded 1000s more

  • 911insidejob81@, How dare you compare Israel's battle of survival against Arabs who were nazi-sympathizers & collaborators (Haj Amin al-Husseini) during WW2, the so-called palestinians, who are really Syrians, Egyptians & other Arabs who colonized Israel over the years, settling in former Jewish habitats, changing their names so as to pretend they'd always lived there. They are treated like dirt by their own Arabs, but live well in Israel. As for you, may you burn in hell with FDR & Hitler

  • This is an amazing tribute, Mr. Diner. Thank you so much for the time you spent, the effort you made for everything to be accurate, and for the awesome song you chose to use as the music bed. Neimals weider--Never again! Shalom

  • beautifully done

  • to hell with nazis and neo nazis and those so called historians that dare shed doubt on the reality of the Holocaust or its number of victims or gas chambers; to hell with them all and long live ISRAEL!

    thanks very much for upload!

  • This song is so beautiful, so sad and at the same time brings so much hope. I am Cuban and to me, this barbaric crime against the jews is the reason why Cuba is suffering the way it does now...We are paying for a crime that has no forgiveness. What a shame on Cuba.

  • This is so beautifully created and deeply moving! Thank you for taking time to create and post it.

Before watching your video, I was unaware of the story of the ‘Voyage of the Damned’. I learned the story but reading the comments. Captions would make your video even more insightful.

  • Listen to this please.

  • Beyond tragic

  • MIA, an artist i love, recently produced this video, which i humbly present to anyone interested, which i believe shows (using violent images) that oppression of anyone for any reason is wrong. Her video has been banned on MTV, gets pulled off of youtube all the time, but can always be seen here at this link

    w3.miauk(dot)com/

  • @2dboy i had to alter the link because youtube wont let you post anything with the world wide web in front of a dot and then some other random letters and another dot and the word com.

i think you can figure it out

the song is called "Born Free"

    Artist is M.I.A.

  • You could not have picked better song. Thank you.

  • Moving video! My grandmother is a holocaust surviver.

  • God bless you Barbra!

  • I am a Filipino, in prison for almost 18 years not knowing if i will again taste freedom, i am only 38. in times when I felt sorrow and needed hope, I remember the books that i had read about the jews who died during a very dark chapter in man's history and there i find hope and the light that is proof that after all the pain, sorrow and hardships we will find a better life...SOMEWHERE

  • beautiful song indeed :)

  • Just keep watching out for the evil ignorant crowd it is a constant vote against please. I love you barbra.

  • Shine barbra shine. I love you.

  • poor people

    RIP

  • I realized what a group of anti-semites President Roosevelt had working with him when I read 'Chutzpah' by Alan Dershowitz.

Also Dulles had very good connections with the nazi firms. And the CIA prepared the future Cold War with USSR with nazi war criminals and scientists. For instance Von Braun who killed thousands of British citizens with his V1 and V2 missiles and became the personal friend of JF Kennedy.

  • RIP murdered people by nazis

  • All who perished under the Nazi purification concept deserve to be remembered. We'll move on when we are sure that humanity will not permit genocide ever again. Anywhere on the planet. • Gracias, hermano!

  • A worthy addition to our culture! TY

  • We can say "never again." We can say, "how did it happen?" There is only one way to answer this question. Do not allow and do not participate in vulgar communication that is currently pervasive in our so-called news airwaves, our halls of congress by those who would like us to think of them as Patriots, our email boxes. These are not patriots. Some of us are rallying to the wrong voices and this is how "never agiain" began. Vulgar sentiments under any flag, from anyone is unacceptable.

  • It was not just Jews that were killed, tens of millions of Europeans Russians and people of countless other Nations were killed.I am English but acknowledge that if it was not for the U.S.A. entering the War in 1941 the war would have lasted longer and millions more would have been killed.

  • Learn the history:

Sadly, six million innocent men women and children were singled out for death because they were Jewish.

The US knew way before 1941 of the death camps. FDR chose not to take in the St. Louis, knowing these people would be slaughtered.

There is no comparison of the Holocaust to war causalities, it was racism, anti-semitism that deemed the Jewish people "not fit to live."

This motive for their deaths isn't found anywhere else, only for those that were Jewish.

  • With all due respect Leah tell that to 22 million Russians ,Gypsies or all the countless others who did not fit into Hitlers ideals.Yes 6 million Jews is 6 million too much but lets never forget the millions of others who died.

  • Nazism was a vile invention of one maniac, who, if I remind you hated jews from his earliest rants in Mein Kampf and blaming them for Germany's defeat and subsequent ruin in world war 1 The Allies knew what was going on from early 1941, but chose for their own reasons to ignore the clear evidence of all the camps in the east, it is to their shame that they allowed these people to b gased and burned, how would you feel if you had lost a generation of your family

  • @pippex32: Yes ... also gays, the mentally ill, and others with "mental" defects were also killed. I have been to the Simon Weisenthal Shoah museum. There are also many other countries where major genocide as occurred. Humans have the capability of great good and great evil. I don't know when it stops. Saddam Hussein committed genocide on the Kurds. What was the proper response? I still don't believe in invading Iraq, but what would you do?

  • Before the Jews, there were the mentally and physically "untermenschen". Then Gypsies, Slavs, homosexuals, political dissidents, intellectuals and others. The Jews became the larger in number, but many were murdered senselessly. These were incremental steps, and while some knew murder was the end result, many others were duped into believing this was, "for their own good", and the individuals rounded up, were working for the war effort.

(Not an excuse, just an explanation. )

  • Watch "Judea Declares War on Germany".

  • I still think of the 1940's and the war and the fact that as Americans we did not know the extent that the nazis were persecuting the Jewish people all over Europe and certainly not about St.Louis.Shame on the world to this day!

  • Really? I have a hard time understanding this..

How could six million people simply disappear??

Your Jewish neighbors in the US knew.

The sad fact is, nobody cared.

We could have had a cure for cancer today.. .

Eleanor Roosevelt carried this final lament of the St. Louis to her death bed in shame.

And that's what it should be: it's shame on people when we don't step in. The spreading of evil only takes good people to do nothing..

  • Can you explain how we could have had a cure for Cancer today.?

You spoil your posting by making such a silly statement.

  • What 'cure for cancer' did the atrocities, ethnic cleansings, V1s & V2s, and expecially the Holocaust with its ghastly human experiments, create? @GETALIFETWIT

  • I think many people cared, but most didn't know what was about to happen. The memory of WWI and what happened to Europe was still fresh in the minds of Americans, isolationism was the call of the day. Nazis counted on other nations xenophobia to carry out their plan. It was a "perfect storm" situation that allowed this to come about. The Holocaust was incremental, and each time no one said anything, the Nazi's were emboldened. We must never allow that to happen again...never.

  • mij parents died early becose of this ware

  • Comment removed

  • not a proud moment in U.S.A. history

as aplace of refuge . shame on F.D.R.

  • The greatest tribute this artist can pay to the State of Israel and the extraordinary survival miracle of the Jewish people. Salvation comes when we stop and pay attention to our fate. This hell of human misery offered in the video, must never repeat. Massada shall never fall again. Thank you Barbra for taking us with Bernstein and Sondheim on the journey we all knew would end up in a place for us. ISRAEL. Xo, A. Lapovsky Tel Aviv/San Francisco

  • fANTASTIC...MARAVILLOSO...VIVA ISRAEL !!!!!

  • Gypsies, the mentally impaired and homosexuals (as well as jews) were "targeted"by the nazis in their vile and inhuman plan to irradicate them from the face of Europe. The capacity for good and evil exists in all of us.All of us have a responsibility to never let this happen again,to remain vigilant and aware.NEVER AGAIN.

  • Extremely sad moment in world history.

  • El mundo está en deuda con el gran pueblo judio, por todo lo que les ha hecho sufrir.

    Viva Israel

  • Viva Israel !!!!!!!! siiiiiii.....maravilloso..

  • My mother lost most of her family in the Holocaust. The fact that Jews were turned away when they reached our shores is unforgivable. I find it hard to believe America could have been so cruel.

  • @77saleha -As were most of the nations on earth.

  • I am a Jew and my parents parents were

gassed or burned to death and it no doubt

is the most horendous act done to humans

    since the beggining of time.

    Let's put it to sleep.......

  • Put it to sleep??? Are you totally stupid???The world should NEVER, EVER, put this to sleep..,This horrible chapter of time should be told for centuries to the next 6 million generations of Jews and all of mankind !!!!

  • I can understand why you feel like this. My heart goes out to you. But, these things continue on to this day in various parts of the world, and if we do not fight against these outrages against humanity, they will continue. I will, for the sake of humanity, stand up and proudly Declare...NEVER AGAIN.

  • Can someone let me know how I can get this video.

  • Very moving video. We must never forget.

  • Fantasti!!

  • Over many years, as I have watched these and other similar images, many far more horrible, I think of my own family. The son's and their wives and children. Any of us could, at any time, be subject to this hatred spread by an all too willing, Politically agenda driven, Mass Media, until the entire world was brainwashed into believing their Lies. Prophesy tells us it WILL return again. We must all be aware, and not succumb to the agenda of Hatred spread as 'Change'.. and 'Progress'... DaFlikkers

  • There are two people whose posted comments on this video make me ashamed that THEY are Jews. Name-calling, unfounded accusations, hate-mongering, and vulgarity are not acceptable ways to express opinions or promote rational and thoughtful discussion. On behalf of myself and my Jewish friends who have also seen these comments, I wish to apologize to the recipients of the callous, hostile remarks which were directed toward them by people who were too closed-minded to understand you.

  • Many years ago, I saw neo-nazi's in NYC cordoned off and screaming at some Jews in a parade. An older woman, a Survivor was there, on here forearm the infamous "tattoo". I asked how she could stand to see these people, her answer, "it is always best to know your enemies". I was strengthened by her calm demeanor...and her words of wisdom. (The "nazi's" were handed a beating by some bagpipers in the parade when they called the pipers "faggots"; the police watched w/glee).

  • We must never forget

  • Let us keep the memory alive for the world to see.

    Thanks.

  • Thank you whoever you are . God bless.

  • This is especially poignant for me at this time. I am in the middle of writing my first book, a historical novel based on the lives of my Jewish grandparents. I have been horrified by my research and what they had to endure. Imagine having to get up and leave your home and life behind. Their family members in Lithuania perished in the Holocaust. I found their descendants and traveled to British Columbia for a wonderful reunion. Now I am writing my family's story as a tribute to my grandparents.

  • This is a powerful reminder that we must all be vigilant and watchful against this and every kind of evil. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • Mr. Diner,

Thank you for sharing this with all. This hits a sensitive spot for me. There is a picture of a man and two little girls at the 3:15 minute mark. The man was my Grandfather and the girls of course are my Mother and Aunt. We just lost my Aunt a few months ago... God rest her soul !!! The main characters in the movie, Voyage of the Dammed were my Grandmother and Grandfather in real life...

    Thanks again!!!

  • Thanks for your note. That photo is a

reminder of the drama the passengers

were facing.. How I wish they make

another film about the S.S. St. Louis,

    directed perhaps by Steven Spielberg.

  • I beleive it was in a magazine... maybe Life... wish I had a copy of it... I think that Steven Spielberg should be the one to do it. I know he would do the story justice.

  • Amazing

  • Was touched deeply & don't forget about it.

  • @agoldman60 This subject matter just tears my soul out - not just for Jews, but any ppl who are treated as such for any reason - being a jew, black, gay, a woman, an arab, an asian. It still makes my head spin to think the world can get so ugly. I am so protected in my western culture, but i wonder if ppl felt the same way in 1930.

How can i believe in god when such things exist? I will be honest - i dont.

i am sorry for your recent loss and thanks for sharing with us. peace/shalom

  • Thank you for this video...

  • To Mr. Diner God Bless You and your family for this.

  • As long as Israel exists, there will never be another Holocaust.

  • Hopefully you are right. But Ahmadinejad and others are followers of Hitler and are planning another Holocaust of the 6 million Israelis Jews. But this time, that attempt will be foiled, and Ahmadinejad & Co. will find themselves being welcomed at Club Hell, where they'll be sunbathing for eternity at 15,000 Fahrenheit @hamlyn1980

  • @Kittsee stop the panic.nothing is going to happen to Israel.

  • Like you I'm optimistic that 'nothing is going to happen to Israel'. But lots of bad things have happened &, if Arabs/Moslems & their allies worldwide, have their way, they would bring upon us another Holocaust in Israel..which would spread to Jews all over the world, together with good people who do not hate us e.g. Judeo-Christian Zionists & yes, believe it or not, quite a large number of Moslem Zionists in various countries, who are already suffering for their beliefs. @hamlyn1980

  • A resolution was presented on the 70th Anniversary of the ships forced departure from the U.S.A. ~ Saturday June 6th at 10:00 am. Thank you SS St. Louis Survivor, Ret. Gen. Phil Freund, for your tireless work towards this recognition. Officially Acknowledged on May 26, 2009 Memorial Day Weekend

RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE S.S. ST. LOUIS TRAGEDY

The Senate passed a resolution sponsored by Senators Kohl (D-WI), Voinovich (R-OH), Brownback (R-KS) and Wyden (D-OR) that sadly recognizes 6/6/1939 .

  • So moving. For those of us who know the story of the St Louis, no explanation is needed. I would have liked to see some text commentary, if only so that the younger generation might follow the directive "Never Forget." Where is the pictured grave located? Translation: "Honoring Their Memory. In this place are interred several pieces of soap, made from human Jewish fat, part of the six million victims of the Nazi barbarity, which occurred in the Twentieth Century. Peace to their remains."

  • Thank you for your comments.

The grave is at the jewish cememtry in

Havana, Cuba ( city of Guanabacoa).

The ship S.S. St. Louis was transporting the passengers to Cuba, but were

    refused entry.

  • We'll find a way of forgiving. My way to forgive Germany: After the war ended, circus elephants should have been crated onto several planes. The planes should have flown over Germany and when the elephants had to perform a certain biological function, the doors should have been opened and excrement land on Deutschland. If they had the opportunity, the Germans would repeat the same atrocities today. If you don't think so, you're just deluding yourself. Be prepared-our motto just like the Scouts.

  • Let us not forget it was only the Jews who lost thier lives,in these sad times !

  • I stated against Jewish and all other people. My comments remain. These Nazis and their sympathizers were the worst people to inhabit the universe. We must guard against this scum. Unfortunately, adverse economic conditions could bring them back in full force.

  • There is a place for us- and all sane human beings. We are tired of the harassment-Animals who bomb buses and kill children, who bomb public buildings. We shall never let the holocaust be repeated again against Jewish people and others. Eretz Yisroel is our home and we shall never foresake its people or land. In the face of never ending danger, the Jewish people need their own home.

  • That place that Barbra beautifully sings is Israel. This is our home. The Balfour Declaration. You can't take this away from us. The problem is that all the holocaust deniers should be made to view this tape. Am Yisroel Chai.

  • just fantastic. moving. eternal.

    shalom

  • Thanks so much for this video with such impressive pictures that accompany this great song of Barbra. Never forget and always be aware of the evil ..

  • How sad that there is so much bashing and hate-filled comments for this video! This song is about life and love ... and a way of forgiveness. Surely you can't be so cold-hearted that you can only come out with negativity.. Please don't bother watching and commenting on such videos if you have so much hate in you for Jews and Israel! We all should be reminded ... Never Again!

  • I cry everytime I hear this/watch it.I am not Jewish butI am human...I love to come watch this one the most Thanks!

  • Tears came to my eyes while hearing the melody sang + reminded of the unspeakable.

  • how cruel people can be, and all because of one man.. disgusting! This should never have happened!

  • If the Germans/Austrians and their many European collaborators has been decent people, not sadistic racist murderers, that 'one man' as you call him, would not have been able to cause this Atrocity, but would have been incarcarated in a lunatic asylum for the rest of his life. That 'one man' knew the character of his Germanic fellows only too well, and he was welcomed with open arms by people who were as sadistic & murderous as he was @hoaries

  • Absolutely touching...Thank you for posting this and helping to keep the memory alive.

  • toda raba Barbra Love the music!!

  • Wow, what a perfect rmetaphor for Our Beloved Brothers the Israelites /Jewish!

Shalom, Your Christain Sisters & Brothers

  • oh really! can you tell me when did the jews ever shelled the german cities or claimed Berlin is their caputal and germans have no right to exist? you know very well the difference! you are just a jew-hater that now hates Israel. Shame on you! Don't write back- I have seem hundres like you in YT, and YOU are the reason we need a strong Israel. Goto hell with your beloved Palestinazis!

  • absolutly no, you los the point i will never be an jew hater ,i was involved in several discussions against neo-nazis i hate the actual israel gobernment acts like the nazis by th brute force of your enormous arsenal.

  • deploying a desproportionated force against a weak people who wants , like the jew people ,only one thing, a land to live.

  • those 'weak people' murdered 100s of Jews in 'palestine' long before Hitler came to power. Also, Goebbels could have learnt a lot from the Arabs where vicious anti-Jew lies and libels were concerned. Even today, 6 million Israelis (with 1.4 Israeli Arabs living well and free in Israel) have to face 250 Million Arabs (in 22 countries) and another billion in other Moslem countries, who continualy vow to 'finish off what Hitler started but failed to finish...!) @MIGUEL2005LIMA

  • you are the WORST of jew-haters: because you cannot stand strong independent Jews. You like us only miserable and tortured. The Israeli government has obligation to defend Jews. We did not do enough in GAza! we has to burn it to ahes! and don't tell me it is 'like nazis', you scum: Jews never shelled or put bombs in Germany. They were good citizens that paid taxes. They never claimed Germans has no eight to exist. HOW DARE YOU COMPARE!!!! Actually the Arabs (grand mufti) were ally of Hitler

    !

  • "We did not do enough in GAza! we has to burn it to ashes! "........to ashes........no hay diferencia entre tu inmiscericorde declracion y la de un nazi, ni hay diferencia entre las cenizas producto de la heyl ha avir que las cenizas de los hornos de hitler.

  • Nor do we forget what your Spanish ancestors did to us....and which no doubt those still in Spain, and those who colonized the Americas (and committed a huge genocide on the native peoples, forcibly converting them to Christianity, or slaughtering them if they hesitated). So Miguel, shush, you are no better than the Nazis yourself - indeed, you may even be one. And give my love to Peru, but not to You. @MIGUEL2005LIMA

  • tu no entiendes nada , lo que desprecion no es que tengan fuerza , sino la brutalidad aquella de los nazis contra uds o la de uds contra los palestinos.

  • the strong against the weak, the old story since david and goliath i am the reason for the "strong"israel?well , you cant bomb me in this forum. tu dices que odio a los judios?el que estes tan lleno de odio te hace lleva hacia el error.

  • look mister. I am fed up with hatefool ignorants like you. talking about the strong against the weak: have you watched the world map? do you have a slightest idea what would those hundreds of millions do to us if they won in 67? I know because I still remember their shouts then to throw all Jews to the sea, and I know how it is to live in war, UNLIKE YOU. My parents were survivors from Europe so we know exactly what we face. Goto hell where you belong ugly primitive antisemite. I wont write more

  • te escribire en castellano ya que lo entindes bien, suposiciones y adjetivos , unlike me? i dont know war? im peruvian, i know war ,and terrorism and dictatorship .you dont have the exclusive franchise of living those tragedies.

  • The nearly 300 Million Moslem Arabs + another Billion Asian Moslems, all armed to the teeth (Hizbullah with 40,000 Katyushas, Scuds & soon maybe, Iranian Shahabs with chemical, biological & nuclear warheads(God Forbid) and Hamas with 20,000 Kassams & Iran with 10s of 1000s gigantic, deadly missles & many, God Forbid, nuclear weapons) & 6 million Israelis in a land of 20,000 sq. miles, compared to 5 million sq.m Arab lands alone, and Israel is a Goliath? Stupid Peruvian Nazi @MIGUEL2005LIMA

  • And if Barbra had been alive at the time, she would have voted for Roosevelt who stood by and allowed it to happen. The Army air force was ordered not to bomb the railroad tracks to the camps. Thanks Barbra for Obama; Roosevelt ll.

  • So right. Dumb US Jews always vote for the Jew hating, anti-Israel Democrat party. This time 78% voted for Obama, including wealthy 'socialists' like the Hollywood crowd who are also joining boycotts of Israel while showing support for Arab terrorists/homicide bombers! All Israel is trying to do is make sure that NEVER AGAIN will enemies of the Jewish people be able to bring a Holocaust on us , not on those abroad & certainly not of another 6 million in their ancient Homeland @dvdcnl

  • poor guys

I hope it will never happen again

  • i think the palestinians can use this beutifull and touching song for claim a little bit of mercy to the israel state .

  • I cannot begin to understand how the Nazis looked those people and especially

the children in the face and put them into the showers or the ovens! I just cannot wrap my head around that kind of brutal cruelty....it's the same as Islam. 5*****

  • Beautiful song.

and a great video . SHALOM

  • A beautiful tribute .Thanks so much

  • Don't ever forget. This happened in the most civilized country in Europe where the Jews were well assimilated--just as they are here in the U.S. It didn't happen because of 10-20 thousand storm troopers. It happened because 700,000 Europeans stood by. Most were decent people--they just didn't consider it their problem. Indifference is what allows evil to triumph.

  • Hope (5 stars)

  • Beautiful, touching, moving!

Bless the heart of all my Jewish brothers and sisters! NEVER AGAIN!!!

  • Some years ago I had an interview at ABC Circle Films to possibly come aboard as an executive. The head honcho asked me what project I would make if I was at ABC Circle Films and I told him I would make "Voyage of the Damned" and gave him my reasons why. I didn't get the job but ABC Circle Films made the movie and I am proud that I had a part in it.

  • I am so ashamed of being Canadian, not taking every jew in. Now were stuck taking every slimy mudslim in. They should remember why there here.

I would love to get mudslimes out of my country now. Let them all drown at sea.

  • how very very sad god help us all

  • This is the most haunting of all of the renditions of this song. Last hopes, dashed; the return to a fate yet unknown.

We all know what happened, and it must never happen again. May we all learn to stand up against the evil that brings such things about. Remember, above all else, we are all human and when any human suffers, we all suffer. The world is only as good as we make it, or as bad as we allow it to get. Stand against the hatred, stand against the injustice.

  • Remember this and all those who died because of human evil. Evil has no political party or religion. It finds its way into each of us when we begin to replace our humanity with anger or fear that minimizes the humanity of others. Be good to one another, listen with clarity and cherish each life and each day. Shalom

  • Fitting, to a lost People, we enjoyed it very much.

  • The boy with his hands up at 6.06 was the chief rabbi of Israel; Rabbi Israel Meir Lau.

  • Sorry, but that's not so. This sweet boy did not survive the Holocaust, but Rabbi Lau did @dvdcnl

  • Will Barbra wake up when her Obamamessiah turns against Israel? She has a lovely voice but terrible politics.

  • Why should Obama do anything different from Bush and Rice?, they're the first one who pushed for a Palestinian state BUSH = Real enemy of Israel

The Israeli government has to stop kissing the US's ass!

  • While I agree about the ass kissing, Bush did support Israel in 06 and recently in Aza. Israel's lack of a strong leader is part of the problem because didn't the Israeli left first come out with the two state 'solution'?

  • Toda Raba Barbra........... Peace to you, and to everyone!

  • This is NOT from Barbara, this was made by Albert Diner. Thank you Albert!

  • It's interesting to read your comments here. I guess if Israelites only understand the prophecy intended for them, I don't think the world will be this chaotic. but God has plan for everyone, not just for them. I find it extraordinarily interesting the verse found in Gen 12. See if you can follow the direction of that verse.

  • amazing video and superb voice!!! but why does she vote with those that oppose israel and hate he that was israels best friend...hw bush!

  • Bush was the first president to call for a palestinian state, therefore he was no' friend' of Israel!

  • As far as I can remember, Streisand hasn't even visited Israel. Can anyone prove that's so...or not? @terit26

  • I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you... G-d to Avraham. I'm Cuban and It's a shame my country didn't let the Jews in because of American pressure and now Cubans are paying with hunger and dispair for 50 years for what they did to those poor souls of the St. Louis.NEVER AGAIN!!! AM ISRAEL CHAI!!!

  • An interesting observation. Never thought

of that prophetic biblical quote in relation

to the St. louis Incident. Yet, 2o yrs after

the incident cubans became "refugees" in

many countries, and in desperation sailed

on rafts into the shark-infested waters of

the Strait of Florida. Remember the boy

Elian and his mother who died in the high

    seas...
