  • your car sounds like a pug

    lol nah i love it

  • WTG.. I think you made agreat choice in that. My only question is the muffler. did you swap out the factory muffler for a realt HOT sound or is that the way it sounds after the modification? i cant see spending over a grand on stainless steel dual exaust when we can follow your way and have a real nice head turning sound..also where did you get your tips? Thanks.. Dave

  • @daviddarmody The muffler is a Flowmaster Super 44 (see my other video about it), the tips were bought online but most muffler shops would carry similar.

  • Does That exhaust set up deplete the factory Warranty! Because i want to do it.... but i dont want to screw myself up with warranty issues!

  • @ty947554 No, this will have no affect on your warranty.

  • How much total did this all cost? I'm thinking of doing the same thing

  • that car sounds amazing!

  • Great! the engine starts and the dog shuts up,

  • @rg26100 shut ur dumb ass up bitch v8 rules

  • Where did you get your y-pipe done? is it a bolt on?

  • @Flwless3 A local muffler shop installed the piping from scratch.

  • wow it sounds real nice i want to get me one of these cars or a dodge charger they are both cool cars

  • Got mine done today except my exhaust person cut out the resonator, replaced it with a straight pipe and added flowmaster to the right and left side. Has true sound of a muscle car now!!!!! Thanks for showing us V6 owners how.

  • @wonghenryw Great! Glad to hear I could offer some help.

  • exhausts will make any car sound beastly, even that mouse quiet 6!

  • it sounds pretty good, how much was it.

  • Wow. Sounds amazing. I think u made a Good choice of jus doing the work like that. The true dual wud be too much money. Sounds amazing!!!

  • sounds Good

  • for your next video you should do a 0-60 time if you can to see if the exhaust added a few tics to the time :)

  • Sounds great, I say" Y" not... nice car

  • how did u pay for the exhaust and to get it installed

  • @romazz12 not sure what you are asking, but If you are asking the total for everything, about $300. (see older comments for more info)

  • @cjcharv , only $300, including labor? thats amazing! sounds amazing

  • What size is the Super 44 muffler you are using? There are quite a few sizes on the website. Thanks.

  • @apantale You want 2.5", with Center In and Offset Out.

  • I agree with everyone on this thread. Your car sounds awesome. I was waiting to hear a little of the V6 coming out, but it sounds just like my old 96 Mustang GT with the flowmasters at startup! Excellent. I imagine if I did that, that I can still use the R/T exhaust tips versus the quads that you have, right? So you are using a single into the Super44, then welded an additional pipe to create the Y and bring an additional exhaust for the left side correct? All for $300. Totally worth it!

  • @apantale Thanks!

  • I think it sounds awesome. I've read and heard that true dual looses a bit of low end torque, and you don't wanna give up on the little torque available for the V6, so I think you made and excellent choice! In fact, I'm gonna copy you when I get mine, I swear, I'm gonna visit a shop, put this video on and say: "I want that!"...

  • how much did this run you?

  • @august0423 About $300 for everything, check my other Challenger videos for more information.

  • @cjcharv alright, thanks dude.

  • does it waste a lot of gas

  • @lordslayer22, Actually I have seen a slight increase in gas mileage.

  • How did it cost?

  • If it was a V-8 the piss ant dog would have been yelping.

  • great video... . . . im looking around for good exhaust for my challenger. but don't know which one is the best or least best.. im thinking about geting that mopar cat back t304s

  • sounds sweet, my 300m sounded just like that!

  • That sound real nice! And I`m a Mustang guy, thumbs up.

  • That sounds damn good.

  • Sounds nice and like the look. Been going back and forth on what to do with my SE exhaust for awhile now.

  • what kind of muffler do you have on it?

  • @kakenpoz Flowmaster Super 44, check out my other videos.

  • what kind of muffler is it?

  • @kakenpoz Flowmaster Super44

  • Woww it originally sounded really good but it sounds even BETTER now! Beautiful car! I definately plan on buying one in the future! Good choice!

  • nice sound!! if you could give some info on this exhaust like how you did it or where you got it done at i am really interested in putting this on my chally!

  • Sounds and looks really good. What did you use to trim the left side fascia for the exhaust tip opening? I just got my 10 V6 Challenger and want to add the duals.

  • @Bougainville100

I actually brought the RT Fascia and installed it myself.

Look at my other videos for the how-to-install it.

  • sounds nice. gives a good tone, not too obnoxious. I'd say you did well for $300

  • hey man, not to bash on your video, but how about revving it little higher so people really get a sense of what it sounds like. I own a V6 firebird with full exaust and it to sounds good if only revved to about 2k rpm's, but much higher than that it gets really raspy.

  • Thanks for the comment, I will work on getting a better video uploaded later.

  • sounds great, i'll wait for your next vid, when making a pull from a stop. What flowmaster did u go with??

  • sounds really good. Can you make a vid of it pulling from a stop?

  • Sure, Let me wait till it gets a bit warmer out.

  • That exhaust sounds great... I just bought a Black 2010 Challenger SE and I am having a flowmaster installed next week... the muffler shop is going to cut out the exhaust opening using a template made by flowmaster... hope they don't screw it up! I have been really pleased with the power on the V6...to be honest the power wasn't that much different than the R/T especially since they put the 5spd auto sick in them this year...It just wasn't worth 8K more....

  • I agree, the V6 has plenty of power. Since I am going for looks and not speed at my age. Besides plenty of mods available to add a lil bit.

  • Hey dude sounds good and I love the color I wanna get a dodge charger rt maybe daytona cost a lot though soon anyway spartan u should look in gettin a charger rt or srt don't really matter I would buy the rt challenger if I had money don't like chevy or fords lol

  • I'm loving my Challenger R/T.. it's awesome

  • About $300 for everything.

  • Nice! Does your Dodge have the Hemi tick though? I've been hearing bad things about that, but I'm not sure if they're present in the Challengers.

  • This is the V6 and not the 5.7 or 6.1, but it sounds good to me.

  • True, but I was just curious if it was. I plan on purchasing the R/T but I'm a little worried.
