I think the term is disingenuous. Stop trolling and move along if the game doesn't suit your personal liking. Anyone who plays browser based games and bothers to read the thousands of posts realize this game is but a faction of the planned content. Some reason though... you seem intent to tear it down. Again, I wonder, what's your motivation?
@Kurantix because im a huge bsg fan and they killed the game. thats 1 reason. what planned content? promises since 1.1 nothing more. all we see are new builds with old bugs. is that progress? and to go live next month when game looks like this? jesus
@kurantix nice comment, and quite right! @denis89cro our experiences are very different, you have played 5v5 only? I have played with about 25/30 colonials against the toasters before and it was smooth still. I think you need a better computer/isp or something.
@durazombie just for the record my pc and internet connection have enough power to act like a server for the game.. fights 10 vs 10 made some systems (remember denebol maybe?) to chrash and keep players stuck there until they were restarted. mods explained they dont know the reason why that happened.. ii know, i was there. i play that game. so you believe it has enough to keep player interested for few months? you can get everything in 1 day.. 2 weeks max if you dont spend 1 dollar on it..

The game is smooth, ridiculously beautiful graphics considering after all this IS a browser based game. For the QQ'rs, it's a BETA TEST, don't expect a fully functioning game yet... some people's kids.
I hope people give the game more than a half hearted shot, I think you will find the game is pretty frakkin' enjoyable!
@Kurantix and did you read that the game goes live in february with option to buy cubits already? everyone keeps telling people "remember its a browser game, it looks nice". thats enough to play? i had all ships in game, from small viper/raider to maul/wraith and jotunn/jormung. both basic and advanced version. and thats pretty much all the ships you can have. 9 in total for each side. skills give 0.1% boost on something. some of them dont have any impact on gameplay even on lv10.

@durazombie oh i tested the game. ok its browser and graphics are ok for that... fast? never had constant lag in controls, spinning in circles for no reason? massive battles? 50 systems, 2 on every side are closed for the opposite side. 46 to play in. every system can only have 25 players from one faction. we had fights 5 vs 5, after that we chrashed the system. lag was huge. and any game has bugs when its in beta? this game has bugs that were ingame from day 1 when beta started!!!

option to buy cubits (money in the game that can get you everything) looks like the only thing that will work. get more then 2 people in squad to fly with and you get 0 exp/loot bug. chat is not working. content in the game is nonexistent- you get daily assignments and they are always the same as before, you only get more to do.. like scan 50 asteroids in the first levels of gameplay.
@durazombie on lv20 it gets 100+. kill 5 drones. on lv20 its 10+. booooooooring..... the game had potential but greed will just kill it with little time. and the devs/mods say "we will add more stuff to do". when? when the game goes live? who will test all the bugs on that new content? and there will be ton of them. but the graphics are ok for a browser, just remember that
Well, the game is probably made on a tiny budget, by a small studio as a free-to-play browser game. It looks about what I expected it to (not very good).
I'm going to take Syfy's advice at the beginning of the trailer and never, ever play this game. If I want a sextastic BSG video game, I'll just have to Imagine Greater.
game is getting ready for open release. its in 1.5 build with bugs from 1.1. but ofc you can buy things insteed of earning them with gameplay. so in 1 day you can be lv20 with full skills and adv. line ship (the biggest one available to get). to little content, to much bugs that "will be fixed" but so much greed for players to give money. all in all, not even worth playing. and this is what most of the beta testers believe. and its browser based, thats explanation for all thats busted ingame?
Remember... this is a browser based game. NO game client what so ever. You guys comment on the graphics like this was a 5 year developed, retail MMO. This is free to play.
At first I thought they totally screwed up Capt Picard at 0:29, but then the Stormtrooper at 0:37 was pretty much spot on. I heard the main point of this game is to take The One Ring to Mordor, but the dev's chose to diverge from the storyline when Neo becomes The One. No clue why they chose to do that, I just hope that the graphics during the Assault on Home Tree, it would be a shame if they could not properly render all those Ewoks.
