  • me too! omigosh like wow

  • Where's the "other" guy !? LOL ! Tears for Fears were two guys; what the F happened to the other one ?

  • In the interval between this album and the previous one, the other guy (Curt Smith) left the band, due to animosity between him and Roland Orzabal (the guy in the video). They only reunited in 2004.

  • amazing!! modern day beatles

  • CALIFORNIA for roland

  • very great song!!!

  • Ele é mesmo surpreendente!Esta também é show!

  • OK pazzensutra, I'm with ya on Palm Springs... but I'm WAY curious about where the baby on the TV screens was filmed. Gatta be an airport - like LAX???

  • it looks like moonsoon season in cali. haha.

  • I think those submerged buildings were filmed near the Salton Sea near Palm Springs.

  • Anybody that doesn't like Tears For Fears should be smashed over the head with a 50lb dumbell!

  • amen!

  • yeah, cause killing them will make them fans for sure!

  • These guys just played at my Casino in Vegas. They Rock'd it!!! BTW - does anyone still know where this video was filmed besides Arizona? Looks like an Airport too.

  • So you mean I was staying at YOUR cassino when I saw TFF last July?

  • This is God of Rasslin Mike Quackenbush's theme!

  • Another Quack fan!!!!

  • So why did Curt Smith quit?

  • they need curt simth agein

  • Curt is in the band again and they did a mini-west coast tour a few weeks ago.

  • saw them in Phx last week and they were so good.. second row.. the place was almost sold out.. Roland is such a cool guy and so humble with the rest of the band.. so nice to see these 80's bands still rocking.. some of the best music ever..

  • Was just wondering if anyone knew where most of this video was filmed? It looks like an airport, maybe LAX?

  • I saw them at the OC Fair on Friday adn them were both very light hearted and seemed to be enjoying themselves, hey they music brings people together some people may get broken up for competitive reasons, but when they get older and wiser they no longer worry about that and they remember their passion for music was the reason they worked together and that the music is the most important thing

  • I was there, too, and it's really too bad that the OC Fair people made them only play for an hour and a half. TFF rushed through their songs, there was almost no time to talk or introduce the band members. I saw Smokey Robinson there just two days before, and he played for more than 2 hours. That was a great show, but TFF's was only OK, largely because of that time restriction. But their MJ tribute, "Billie Jean," was great, the emotional highlight of the show.

  • OC Fair just okay, huh? I was in Vegas and I gotta tell you it was one of the very best concerts of my entire life, which is kind of long now. Maybe it was in Vegas where magic happened as Roland mentioned once that certain nights are special. Not going to name names but TFF was much better than a lot of the big production concerts I have seen in the past.

  • I imagine in Vegas, they were given more time to play. I think they played there before the OC Fair show, right? The OC Fair show was something like July 17. I remember seeing one of my favorite reggae artists, Michael Rose, at a small, indoors venue (like a House of Blues) and the show was GREAT! Then I saw him later on, and he wasn't the main act, as he was on tour with other veteran reggae artists who rotated who would be the main, and the show was rushed and just OK.

  • Vegas was on July 18th. I know what you are saying. Sometimes the venue setup of the concert puts a damper on it.

  • they are awsome. have been trying to follow them since in HS and that is 20 years ago. good to hear that roland and curt somewhat made up to make music again.

  • Yes, they are awesome. I saw them last night at the Orange County Fair and Roland and Curt looked like they were having a blast on stage. They made up a few years ago and you can see that they enjoy each other's company on stage.

  • I hear you. TFF is one of my favorite bands for the past 2 decades too and no matter how good this song is its great to hear them share vocals again.

  • Saw them last night in WA State...Everyone was on their feet most of the time! Their talent is amazing...also saw their very first US show a long time ago...last night was fabulous!

  • to derbul58,

Are still going to make it here to Arizona? Do you know when you might be getting in? I'm driving about 2 1/2 hours cus I live in Tucson, Arizona. No big deal. Looking forward in seeing them. Have a safe trip..

    PS

Don't forget to try to drink water or at least have it ready. It gets realyl hot here in Tucson. But Phoenix can get hotter. Just in case u didn't know.

  • I'll be flying in from Denver, and should arrive about 3:45 PM. I'm so looking forward to it! Yep, important to stay hydrated. It's hot, but at least it's a dry heat. :) You have a safe trip, as well.

  • they were great.... their music still holds today

  • the beauty of decay

absolutely profound - this entire album has sustained and defined my life

  • And I guess one sees what one wants to see!!!!

I sure choose to see Roland's beauty. In my eyes, he will always be beautiful, exceptionally talented, and one of the most interesting man on earth.

Now, it is time for all of us to enjoy what he does best... music. Love his dancing, too =)

  • Exactly. That's what I was doing too and someone chose to hear something that I wasn't saying.

Roland is a very handsome man, there's no denying that, but his teeth look different. I wasn't making fun of him at all.

  • I've been listening to Tears For Fears since I was 4. By the way, I was born in 1998! I got it from my mom, I think.

  • Good for you! You got her good taste =)

  • Thank you but oye I really do need to work on my social skills.

  • Esta cancion me en cula.

  • Celeste- I love Roland's work, but I would not talk about his teeth. It's his body and his business. Would you want a total stranger to say, "Hey Celeste I hate how your mouth looks?" That's exactly what you are doing.

  • boa banda, sonoridade.. so musicas boas !! 10.. comecei minha adolescencia ouvindo break down again hehe

Salve todos aqueles que viveram bravamente entre bandas maravilhosas como essa....

  • hola! que hermosa canción simpre me encanto y un gran grupo que es tears for fears, bey, saludos

  • FANTASTIC!

  • My favorite Tears For Fears song for the last 24 years has been "Everybody wants to rule the world", but "Break it down again" is fast becoming my #2 favorite!

  • This is one of those songs that comes and goes in your head, but when it's there it grows on you more and more.

  • i first herd this song when i got my tears for fears the collection CD. it was very new to me then, then it just grewon me..alot!.

  • no sense of humour son,?

  • hung like a horse,..........sweet,

  • headstrong like a horse, not hung like a horse

  • stand tall like a man; kick strong like a horse. if you still care.

  • Actually it's "stand tall like a man, headstrong like a horse."

  • no fag its stand tall like a man; headstrong like a horse

  • Welcome to the breaking down world!

  • 令人感動的歌!

  • 我同意!!!

  • This song rocks , the lyrics have such deep meaning

  • wheres curt smith uan stanly or manny elias only roland orzabal and non tears for fears band membersi did not know that roland could be in 2 bands

  • This was after Ian, Manny, and Curt left. I don't know why the other two left but Curt left because he wasn't getting along very well with Roland. There was that and he wasn't taking his fame that well and he was bored.

  • I remember reading somewhere that Ian and Manny left simply because their contracts with the record company (or the band itself, I'm not sure) was up and they chose not to continue

  • It's in the way you're always hiding from the light

Fast off to heaven just like Moses on a motorbike

No revolution maybe someone somewhere else

Could show you something new to help you

    With the ups and downs

I want to break it down

    Break it down again

  • This song will be forever in my memories.

  • Current song ever!

  • It warrants way more than that. This song is one of my favorites of all time, and the best by the band. Such a great message. I miss music like this.

  • I have the feeling someone else posted the same song and is getting more hits than this version.

  • This is a great song.period.

  • This song rocks!

  • Inspiring song that got me through a very, very tough time in life! Thank you so much for posting such an under rated hit of yesterday!
