I just want to say THANK YOU for posting this video. I have an american eskimo who is living with my mom, and a month ago she got hit by a car, and has been in intensive surgery and physical therapy since, and she'll never be able to use one of her back legs.

It was horrible, but watching this video always seems to make me happy no matter what, and it makes me feel hopeful about my Zoe.

@Acer6828 i live in new orleans and i had one growing up...you have to shave their fur as soon as it gets warm and keep them shaved throughout the summer (any hot/warm weather) but ours was fine...they prefer cold weather though, she went crazy for cold weather...

@trudal987 i understand that...but in new orleans we get up to 100% humidity and temperatures in the 100s in the summer...its cruel to have a dog like an american eskimo without shaving them...we never shaved her in the fall/winter, but down here it would have been/be very wrong to not compensate for the severe heat that this breed isnt meant to live in...there are tons of 'snow' dog breeds down here that have to be shaved in the summer...(unless of course you have unlimited air conditioning)...
