if you want really amazing entry angles fwd is best, because the counter-steer has a much more profound effect. so you can go in at a backwards angle and still recover
@bpham10 because the drive wheels arent spinning dumbshit..to be a true drift it has to be a controlled skid...now if the front wheels had lost traction as well and he could control it that would be proper drift
if u whant to try take out the button that releases it that way you can just let go of the E break\hand brake WARNING!! it will violate the road juse of your car
There are skilled drivers who can drive and balace car on 2 wheels & there is also skilled riders on smaller vehicles with 2 wheels. So here is skilled drivers drifting with fwd:s... opposite to this is--? obviously but thumps up for driver skills in this video...
I drift constantly in my front wheel drive honda. Sure, you have to use the handbrake, but once you get it down, it is super fun. and addicting. and I have to buy new tires. I must admit... it's easier with RWD.
He's on the handbrake constantly but I guess that's the only way, cos front wheel drive cars are always trying to put you back into a straight line or stop the car by spinning out because of lack of pull from the back.
haha this is really funny. He can drift with a fwd because the front tires are bald as hell. if those tires had any grip he would pull forward before he could even drift. I guess this is cool but i wouldnt recommend people trying it since you lose alot of control and are screwed if you mess up on your timing. the simple way to drift with fwd is to just drive it backwads or stick to powersliding.
@mylegs123 No your wrong there about it being because the front wheels are bold, If anything you need really good front tires because that is how you are controling the car, with the front wheels and hand brake, You pull the hand break to get the angle you want, then when you start to loose the angle you pull it again........
@mylegs123 .......Its basicly the same as rear wheel drive drifting, but you dont have the option of using power in the back wheels, you just have the hand brake to control the car. You also control it by the amount of power you send to the front wheels to pull the car if you get too much angle, I know this because i do it ;)
I wouldn't call it drifting when it's fwd.. Powersliding or something sounds better, lol. But these drivers are very skilled, no doubt about that. Got to be very skilled to make it effective with fwd.
RWD cars are nice for drifting, but this video of this FWD civic is also, by the way a modded ef9 can beat any RWD in a street race with the right stuff
Now that's skill... FWD drifts are 10x's harder then RWD... but it kills your rear brake pads & rotors apart from the rear wheels... Then you get flat spots on your rear wheels from sliding the rear with the e-brake... Less throttle control too, since you just slam it down to pull you along...
Hahaha you have an M3? And you're this immature and pathetic? Wow, it's really a shame that a car like that could fall into your hands. I truly doubt you actually own one. Now save yourself the trouble of some flashy comeback, and just prove me wrong with a video of YOUR car. I'll believe you then. Until then, smarten up, because your just making yourself look stupid.
haha you're going to have to do better than that. A slideshow of a couple different M3s, and at least 5 different girls. And still attempting to insult...lol you fail dude.
Well i left school in year 10 (15 years old) Got a Diesel Mechanic apprenticeship. From that i got a loan off parents+what i earned at work to buy one. Since now ive paid them off and im debt free.
Today I was drifting with my front wheel drive car just for fun... but in an epic iced closed parking... It's so ugly to see somebody drifting in a race with FWD cars.. RWD FOREVER!
@7zenki7 easiest way is to lift the back wheels of the ground using a square metal sheet on each tire with a bit of a lip so the tire doesnt slip off that way you can have fun and not wreck your tires :D
@TheRallycrossKing yeah I do that same shit, unless im driving a automatic, I can do a great job left foot braking... but with a stick its way more sensitive to me
This people invented drifting cars. They can call this drifting too

hand brake is an instant tire lock up
foot braking is to slow you down, meaning you wouldn't go sideways as clean
