Of course Brown didn`t start the war in Iraq or A/stan.
He just starved the troops fighting those wars of vital funds to buy the kit to fight those wars therby insuring many would die who might otherwise have lived.
He is, by any defination, a traitor.
Him, Blair, Goldsmith, Campbell, Straw, Hoon, are dripping in blood, it`s just a pity that it belongs to other people.

Shameful booing the man. This day isn' t about politics, it's about remembering those who made the eternal sacrifice for their country. Anybody who classes themselves British should have a right to observe it peacefully with their fellow Britons.
@thegreatloy It isn't shameful!!! If it wasn't for gordon brown, there wouldn't have been a war and we wouldnt be remembering anyone who had been in the war, they'dd be at home with their familys all alive and well. They would have never been killed if brown hadn't started the war to begin with!
He did not start the war, Tony Blair did. The war had huge support to begin with, and an occupational hazard of a soldier is he gets killed. It's horrible, it's unnecessary, but it's also unfortunately what happens. Gordon Brown doesn't even factor in the debate about this conflict.
oh, and remembrance day is for all wars pre Gordo also, so we'd still have plenty to remember...or do you blame him for the Falklands (only popular cos he won), WW1 and WW2 as well?

hey my I.Q is low, it's about 138, but i understand what your saying mike and just because you cannot spell properly does not mean you are an underachiever, most top actors are dyslectic, so.......
And picking on sumbody because of their grammar is not very intelligent in itself i believe.
and another thing is, these oold boys would have given up their lives so that some knumbskull like you could sit typing crasse comments. Get back to reality,
Yes - He's engaged in the worst examples of populist government by reacting - badly - to events that occur. Playing out the recent failure of his own policy towards the Ghurka's as just one example. By supporting the erosion of our civil liberties in the name of added security makes us all 'citizens' of a new country that I no longer recognise. By doing so, we deserve neither. By raiding the coffers of our pensions policy to the tune of 5 billion a year. There isn't enough space to contiunue....
The point I was making about the Ghurkas is that by playing to the cameras in public, and not in parliament where it should have been done, he changed his position to court the public's favour. That's the sign of a weak government.
Are you denying that he hasn't raided the coffers of the pensions industry? This has led to the collapse of so many company pensions schemes which in turn will lead to poverty for millions of pensioners.
Try not be a died in the wool leftie. It's too boring.
SeniorSpie1bergo ... " a single vaild criticism" that is hardly a balanced comment. Brown has been at the heart of this Government in one of the two key roles available. He has had every opportunity to either effect or make policy for 12 years and if you are seriously impling that the UK is in good shape finacially, law & order, education, health or our over commited Armed Forces, then you really are out of touch with reality.
That same bureaucratic technicality approach meant that the Ghurka issue was resolved at an agonizingly slow pace. Considering letting them in or not was a complete no-brainer.
Thats what im thinking lots of people are not liking gordon brown just for the sake of it. Every1 messed up for this financial crisis to come about but the problem is that somebody had to be blamed :/
He sold our gold reserves for pitence. Shortly he discovered he could have made billions from the amount he just let go. This was in his Chancellor days.
As for his time as PM, he fails despite pressure from left right and centre to send more troops to Afghanistan, he completely fails to resolve the Ghurka issue, he has given the go ahead to more security cameras and less actual policing, he has presided over more defence, policing, health and education cuts, he turned the welfare state from a safety net into a fishing net, he lacks the decisiveness to deal with religious extremists like Anjem Choudary and the others who protested in Luton...
Its not just coincidence that Britain is at its worst point in years while it is under Brown's leadership. Quite simply, he lackes the decisiveness for the job, and has surrounded himself with the most inept and gutless cabinet the country has ever seen.
Moreover, do you have single event, in his time as PM, where hew did something difinitive, and right.
the worst PM in history, even his own party know that. "Honouring" the sacrifices of those brave ppl.... and for what, that's what the survivors are thinking, for not a lot better! THEY/ WE deserve far better!
The veterans booing at the PM is an attempt at democracy, in a country where democracy is just a lie. They fought for democracy, but the bastards in power are abusing it and twisting it far beyond its true form
You can if it is in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think they did a great service that the world should never forget, but they should not forget what they went to France to do, honour the dead and the past, not boo the PM
You dont realise how emotional this trip is for these old heros........they probably feel utter betrayel to themselves and their old comrades by the lunatcy we call government at the moment. Good for them. You PC fools make me sick. What's PC about watching your best mate have his head blown off.
There are millions of unclaimed funds in pensions, and no one thelps them to claim them. If these people haven't earned the right to boo a Prime Minister who has wrecked the country they fought for, no one has. They have earned it.
roryjimm . I believe the exact opposite. A lot of these old soldiers live in poverty from day to day. They have to manage on a low pension.
They and their comrades were prepared to give up their lives for this country and many did. They went through horrors most of us can not imagine. The way our elderly are treated is a disgrace.
ibbiwho. I do not deny that these people have the right to be angry with the PM, but i do deny that they shoud hold their toung for a time more fitting to get their opinion heard. They travelled to France to honour the men and women that died so we could have democracy, not to boo their PM.
This is disgusting from the crowd. While I dont sympathise with Gordon Brown people who went to remember D-Day should not bring politics into it. He was not on British soil, or discussing British affairs, the people who booed where disgracing the dead.
The British National Party is the only party which opposes mass immigration and surrender to the European Union. Unlike the other parties, we mean it when we say it. The BNP has a range of sensible policies covering every aspect of British society.
They have quoted that they do not mind breaking "a few race laws" and would try to "encourage" sportsmen like Rio Ferdinand and Amir Khan to leave the country.
Don't vote for the British Nazi Party, their KKK ways aren't wanted. Stop immigration yes, but not with racist undertones.
every war has its casualties however u are wrong nick said yesterday that legal immigrants like rio and kahn who are british can stay the bnp are on their side go to the bnp website and read it for yourself in the mean time do you really want the labour and tories and the lib dems to steal more of our money to build duck ponds buy porn for their husbands and waste OUR tax money by doing nothing YOU are supporting theft .
of course they aren't going to say they would get all immigrants out of the country, because that really would bring in the voters wouldn't it. If they came to power they would not allow ethnic minorities into their party, that just gives a taster of what they would be like. As for the expenses row are you telling me the ignorant and stupid bnp mps would not have done that? Also how can you possible want a racist, fascist, holocaust denying party ruling britain
labour tories and lib dems have had their chance bnp deserve a chance too Mr joe Randall joins numerous other World War II veterans who have come out in support of the BNP over the past few weeks. So far the party has at least three Royal Air Force WWII veterans, including at least one Spitfire Battle of Britain pilot, several Royal Navy veterans (including some who took part in the Dunkirk, Tirpitz and Atlantic Convoy campaigns) and a good sprinkling of D-Day veterans.
the bnp do not deserve a chance at all you idiot, they deny the holocaust they are racist and leaving the eu would sour relations. They are just like the nazi party, it was idiots like you that voted in hitler
what would you know about this your not old enough to have sex drink or even vote how many countrys have you been to ? for a child of 15 id have thought you would be smart and willing to learn and not be such a small minded immature prick you dont even know enogh about life to vote to make this country a better place so be seen and not heard you little penile wart .
em, i think im entitled to my opinion thanks very much. And in fact i was commenting on the nature of the occasion at which the booing took place. My comment had nothing to do with my opinon on gordon brown or his actions as prime minister. The booing was disrespectful as it undermined the purpose of the d - day commemorations u loser, so take a second to think about what a person may be commenting on before you storm in there with ur responses...
I don't vote BNP but seem's from reading comment's on youtube that more "anti" BNP are more facist than the actual BNP? Don't you think?
Let people vote who they wish, this is a free society , it's nobody place (especially the middle class typre's) to tell anybody where they should be voting. People need to look at the policies and decide for themselfst. When BNP do get seats thats ether what the public want or their fault for not voting someone else. Blame themillions that didn't vote at all.
The BNP is a facist and racist party. There is no way to deny that as they themselves will refuse to let black people amongst others to join the party. I have to say that yesterday was a very sad day indeed for Great Britain as a country when we felt we were deemed to vote for the BNP because we thought they were better then Labour. it realy shows how low our currant govermant has sunk if we the public deem it decisary to vote for them.
AHAHAHAHA, name one non white person that is in the party?? and have you even read there policies? it is one step down from concentration camps and ghettos along with total segrigation and mass exporting of any immigrants within the last 200 years
hey idioso, did i say in THEIR party, if you even cared to read instead of being an ignorant SOB i said they are backed buy non white parties/groups, not within their party.
and as for the policies you clearly ain't read them and take the old view on BNP either which just leads me to believe you'd hate anything if a large amount of people were going on about it, i see nothing about segregation at all, what's wrong with if you don't live here legally you shouldn't be in this country come on tell me ?, surely its common sense, have you beeN outside recently mate ? there's major problem with illegal immigration and BNP are the only ones doing anything about it.
TBH Labour, at the moment, is the only party who can deal with the problem we're in, and this is coming from a true blue, what Mr. Brown needs to do is not have a resuffle of his party, but have a regeneration of labour, get some fresh blood into the house of commons, seeing that some of his party are using him as an escape goat for their mistakes.
Gordon Brown is the only MP we can trust to be a decent PM, everybody blames him when its is not his fault.
This country has gone to shit. I don't wanna sound like the BNP....but i think its time we sent these immigrants home and stopped paying out so many benefits for them to do nothing but sit on their arse. Our country is in debt...last time i checked its £200,000 per person in England that amounts to the amounts to the total debt we are in.
Instead of cutting the benefits off, the government just borrows more money to keep the benefits going...all the while getting further into debt..its crazy!!
Most benefits go to the native population, usually young people who leave school because they cant be arsed to do the work, especially one of those low status ones where immigrants work for un-dreamt riches pulling shit out of a blocked toilet. Next step is they get themselves/someone pregnant and moved into a free house with a nice fat benefit cheque for the kids, and there's always the giro on top. These people and two wars that cost the taxpayer, stop picking on the easy target of immigrants.

Does anyone have a single, VALID criticism of Gordon Brown.
PLEASE?
SenorSpie1bergo 2 years ago
Yes - He's engaged in the worst examples of populist government by reacting - badly - to events that occur. Playing out the recent failure of his own policy towards the Ghurka's as just one example. By supporting the erosion of our civil liberties in the name of added security makes us all 'citizens' of a new country that I no longer recognise. By doing so, we deserve neither. By raiding the coffers of our pensions policy to the tune of 5 billion a year. There isn't enough space to contiunue....
Pezzab5 2 years ago
"By reacting badly...to events that occur"
That's not an answer. And the policies regarding Ghurkas existed long before Brown took power. Economics: clearly not your strong subject.
You're entitled to an opinion. Just make sure it's your own and not the Daily Fail's.
SenorSpie1bergo 2 years ago
The point I was making about the Ghurkas is that by playing to the cameras in public, and not in parliament where it should have been done, he changed his position to court the public's favour. That's the sign of a weak government.
Are you denying that he hasn't raided the coffers of the pensions industry? This has led to the collapse of so many company pensions schemes which in turn will lead to poverty for millions of pensioners.
Try not be a died in the wool leftie. It's too boring.
Pezzab5 2 years ago
I agree with you Pezzab5 ....

Hamdaman101 2 years ago
Thats what im thinking lots of people are not liking gordon brown just for the sake of it. Every1 messed up for this financial crisis to come about but the problem is that somebody had to be blamed :/
jamesholden2k7 2 years ago
thats not y there booing him..its because he didnt insist the french president invite the queen to the d.day anniversary.
jemmina05 2 years ago
On top of that he is just genuinely inept.
Hamdaman101 2 years ago
He sold our gold reserves for pitence. Shortly he discovered he could have made billions from the amount he just let go. This was in his Chancellor days.
Hamdaman101 2 years ago
As for his time as PM, he fails despite pressure from left right and centre to send more troops to Afghanistan, he completely fails to resolve the Ghurka issue, he has given the go ahead to more security cameras and less actual policing, he has presided over more defence, policing, health and education cuts, he turned the welfare state from a safety net into a fishing net, he lacks the decisiveness to deal with religious extremists like Anjem Choudary and the others who protested in Luton...
Hamdaman101 2 years ago
Its not just coincidence that Britain is at its worst point in years while it is under Brown's leadership. Quite simply, he lackes the decisiveness for the job, and has surrounded himself with the most inept and gutless cabinet the country has ever seen.
Moreover, do you have single event, in his time as PM, where hew did something difinitive, and right.
Hamdaman101 2 years ago
the worst PM in history, even his own party know that. "Honouring" the sacrifices of those brave ppl.... and for what, that's what the survivors are thinking, for not a lot better! THEY/ WE deserve far better!

TheEastFifeLoon 2 years ago 2
You can if it is in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think they did a great service that the world should never forget, but they should not forget what they went to France to do, honour the dead and the past, not boo the PM

You dont realise how emotional this trip is for these old heros........they probably feel utter betrayel to themselves and their old comrades by the lunatcy we call government at the moment. Good for them. You PC fools make me sick. What's PC about watching your best mate have his head blown off.

Kevster21 2 years ago
There are millions of unclaimed funds in pensions, and no one thelps them to claim them. If these people haven't earned the right to boo a Prime Minister who has wrecked the country they fought for, no one has. They have earned it.
ibbiwho 2 years ago
roryjimm . I believe the exact opposite. A lot of these old soldiers live in poverty from day to day. They have to manage on a low pension.
They and their comrades were prepared to give up their lives for this country and many did. They went through horrors most of us can not imagine. The way our elderly are treated is a disgrace.
ibbiwho 2 years ago
ibbiwho. I do not deny that these people have the right to be angry with the PM, but i do deny that they shoud hold their toung for a time more fitting to get their opinion heard. They travelled to France to honour the men and women that died so we could have democracy, not to boo their PM.
roryjimm 2 years ago
All together now, 'BOOOOOO!' LOL

This is disgusting from the crowd. While I dont sympathise with Gordon Brown people who went to remember D-Day should not bring politics into it. He was not on British soil, or discussing British affairs, the people who booed where disgracing the dead.

The British National Party is the only party which opposes mass immigration and surrender to the European Union. Unlike the other parties, we mean it when we say it. The BNP has a range of sensible policies covering every aspect of British society.
uhaan1 2 years ago
They have quoted that they do not mind breaking "a few race laws" and would try to "encourage" sportsmen like Rio Ferdinand and Amir Khan to leave the country.
Don't vote for the British Nazi Party, their KKK ways aren't wanted. Stop immigration yes, but not with racist undertones.
Jordy216 2 years ago
every war has its casualties however u are wrong nick said yesterday that legal immigrants like rio and kahn who are british can stay the bnp are on their side go to the bnp website and read it for yourself in the mean time do you really want the labour and tories and the lib dems to steal more of our money to build duck ponds buy porn for their husbands and waste OUR tax money by doing nothing YOU are supporting theft .
uhaan1 2 years ago
you really are dumb arent you
of course they aren't going to say they would get all immigrants out of the country, because that really would bring in the voters wouldn't it. If they came to power they would not allow ethnic minorities into their party, that just gives a taster of what they would be like. As for the expenses row are you telling me the ignorant and stupid bnp mps would not have done that? Also how can you possible want a racist, fascist, holocaust denying party ruling britain
baconeggbagle 2 years ago
labour tories and lib dems have had their chance bnp deserve a chance too Mr joe Randall joins numerous other World War II veterans who have come out in support of the BNP over the past few weeks. So far the party has at least three Royal Air Force WWII veterans, including at least one Spitfire Battle of Britain pilot, several Royal Navy veterans (including some who took part in the Dunkirk, Tirpitz and Atlantic Convoy campaigns) and a good sprinkling of D-Day veterans.
your worried arent you !
uhaan1 2 years ago
the bnp do not deserve a chance at all you idiot, they deny the holocaust they are racist and leaving the eu would sour relations. They are just like the nazi party, it was idiots like you that voted in hitler

em, i think im entitled to my opinion thanks very much. And in fact i was commenting on the nature of the occasion at which the booing took place. My comment had nothing to do with my opinon on gordon brown or his actions as prime minister. The booing was disrespectful as it undermined the purpose of the d - day commemorations u loser, so take a second to think about what a person may be commenting on before you storm in there with ur responses...

they are better then the facist BNP though
JMietser 2 years ago 2
I don't vote BNP but seem's from reading comment's on youtube that more "anti" BNP are more facist than the actual BNP? Don't you think?
Let people vote who they wish, this is a free society , it's nobody place (especially the middle class typre's) to tell anybody where they should be voting. People need to look at the policies and decide for themselfst. When BNP do get seats thats ether what the public want or their fault for not voting someone else. Blame themillions that didn't vote at all.
wowknobs 2 years ago
The BNP is a facist and racist party. There is no way to deny that as they themselves will refuse to let black people amongst others to join the party. I have to say that yesterday was a very sad day indeed for Great Britain as a country when we felt we were deemed to vote for the BNP because we thought they were better then Labour. it realy shows how low our currant govermant has sunk if we the public deem it decisary to vote for them.
JMietser 2 years ago

AHAHAHAHA, name one non white person that is in the party?? and have you even read there policies? it is one step down from concentration camps and ghettos along with total segrigation and mass exporting of any immigrants within the last 200 years
JMietser 2 years ago 2
hey idioso, did i say in THEIR party, if you even cared to read instead of being an ignorant SOB i said they are backed buy non white parties/groups, not within their party.
please read before you talk
Cooli3T 2 years ago
and as for the policies you clearly ain't read them and take the old view on BNP either which just leads me to believe you'd hate anything if a large amount of people were going on about it, i see nothing about segregation at all, what's wrong with if you don't live here legally you shouldn't be in this country come on tell me ?, surely its common sense, have you beeN outside recently mate ? there's major problem with illegal immigration and BNP are the only ones doing anything about it.
Cooli3T 2 years ago
TBH Labour, at the moment, is the only party who can deal with the problem we're in, and this is coming from a true blue, what Mr. Brown needs to do is not have a resuffle of his party, but have a regeneration of labour, get some fresh blood into the house of commons, seeing that some of his party are using him as an escape goat for their mistakes.
Gordon Brown is the only MP we can trust to be a decent PM, everybody blames him when its is not his fault.
He was only trying to pay his respects

This country has gone to shit. I don't wanna sound like the BNP....but i think its time we sent these immigrants home and stopped paying out so many benefits for them to do nothing but sit on their arse. Our country is in debt...last time i checked its £200,000 per person in England that amounts to the amounts to the total debt we are in.
Instead of cutting the benefits off, the government just borrows more money to keep the benefits going...all the while getting further into debt..its crazy!!
MrCommentz 2 years ago
Most benefits go to the native population, usually young people who leave school because they cant be arsed to do the work, especially one of those low status ones where immigrants work for un-dreamt riches pulling shit out of a blocked toilet. Next step is they get themselves/someone pregnant and moved into a free house with a nice fat benefit cheque for the kids, and there's always the giro on top. These people and two wars that cost the taxpayer, stop picking on the easy target of immigrants.
