it should have a little faster tempo , as in original...its one of the most beautiful classical musics for oboe... abbas kiarostami , persian film director used this music in the final scene of his film beneath the olive trees
there is a cd of oboe concerti like cimarosa, marcello, vivaldi and these concerti are arranged by an english composer (born about 1960) Benjamin is his last name but I lost his first name, can somebody help me, please?

Merveilleux. Qui connaît ? C'est un de mes "concertos" préférés. Il calme la douleur, appaise la tristesse.

I strongly recommend Naxos's "The Art of the Oboe" (Anthony Camden) It's a wonderful CD.

I played this piece, mvt 1 and 2, very fun. As for this recording, Lajos did a fantastic job.....do you think there are enough naked women here. ;~)

By the way, this Oboe Concerto is in C minor, not C major. There is another Cimarosa oboe concerto in C major but it's not as well known as this one.

Cimarosa's best musical idea, I believe.
Once I listen to it, I play it again and again non stop. 0:58 and on simply is amazing.
