  • I would also suggest priming the spot before painting

  • Used this tip with great success! The only thing I changed was the distance from the drywall from 10 inches to about 5 inches. After painting the wall the work was invisible,

  • Very nice. Makes more sense than the video's I watched on expert village.

  • @Boxcutter11 Agreed!

  • Perfect. Can't wait to try the brush splatter thing when I get home tonight. Totally wasted my $13 on that crappy spray can texture.

  • AWESOME!!!!!! Thanks for the great idea of a stiff bristle brush. ive been racking my brain on how to make a repair.

  • Thanks, thanks, thanks, clear and concise. Excellent. No sprayer rental, no tons of plastic to protect everything. Wonderful.

  • Definitely a great video. I moved into a place where the previous tenants didn't care about the place and where they did patch the orange peel texturing they did a crappy, smooth putty patch. I plan on fixing that and this video helped me understand what needs to be done. Thanks!

  • Great video. I tried one of those spray can textures, what a waste of time and money. Your method is fast, easy, very professional and didn't cost anything. I did practice on some scrap drywall first. Thanks for your help.
