i am a freshman in the band, i play the clarinet and this is my first year, this is great, i am the only male clarinetist, to tell you the truth, but i really like this, we are doing africa ceremony song and ritual.
Ha. I performed this show this year at my school. But yalls sounds so much better. And the 3rd movement for us doesnt start out legato. and you have better dynamics.
sounded pretty good. Only complaint I have is that the accoustics in the stadium make everything echo and sound all jumbled up. Other than That I like it.
We did this show my freshman year, '06 and we got 11th in state, we only had about 64 members? i think and it was amazeing, im not very impressed with your drill though D: but overall very good sound =]
I will be a director in another year or two, and I'm impressed. Maybe in Indiana this was 10th, but in many other states that score would be much higher. Nice job LaPorte.

yeah, that's kind of conceited if you ask me. no one should ever say that, since it's pretty hard to toss a rifle or flag. have you ever tried it? probably not, since you are most likely a wind player. so i agree with Kajayacht.

okay well size dosent mean anything in band lol only reason i say that is because moter day went to state with about less than 30 peopel total in there band so size dosent matter and us class d performers got it close im prettey sure we were 2.5 points away from 1st and we got 7th so size dosent matter lol only music and orginality does and the looks of it

Watching this totally made me remember why I longed to be in my high school marching band. Couldn't afford to buy or rent an instrument, though, or pay for lessons... This was great! Thanks for sharing a remarkable performance!
I'm sorry you guys didn't do very well. I think you guys sound amazing. I know indiana bands are pretty awesome but I think your sound is the best thing you guys have. It's beautiful. Great brass players. Especially the low brass. I'm jealous.

heyy this was my freshman year marching show back in the 04-05 season. we did pretty good with it but our guard wasn't too good then =/

No no it's not the fact that they've won State finals every year for the past 7 years, 5 of which were class A the first 2 class B
It's stupid stuck-up crap like "nor will they ever be." Even though it's really opinion who has the better flags.
Hell you could've just left it at "flags are not better than Avon's" and I would've been fine with that.
