  • Actually we are a constitutional republic, not a democracy. We have a constitution to protect the MINORITY from the will of the Majority.

Now the majority could change the constituion, but then we would no longer be talking about our government but some hypothetical version.

  • You are a great host. Why the lack of videos?

  • Fantastic video, I like your speaking voice, your mannerisms, and the concise, simple language/answers you provide.

Keep it up good sir, there is a lot of ignorant people out there.

  • This video is great. You need to make more along this line.

  • Nice video, but I have one problem with it. Galileo was not the first to discover heliocentric theory, it was actually Copernicus. Galileo defended it and improved it but didn't discover it.

  • @alekto91 a couple of ellenistic (3d century BC) astronomers also had come up with the idea of heliocentrism and earth rotation, unfortunately most of their writings were lost with Alexandria's library, and later the Church adopted Ptolemy's geocentric model as it was closer to the Bible's (very vague) account. it took 15 long centuries to re-discover the truth.

  • learning from our mistake? Dude you're fucking retarded. That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard.

  • The sun moves too...

  • @ 1:21 This verse is in the middle of a depressed rant of an aging King David. He's all like "Vanity Vanity, All is vanity! What's the point of working in the hot sun? I watch people be born, get old and die. The wind blows north, just to go back south again, the rivers flow to the sea , and the sun goes up and down. I asked for wisdom, but the more knowledge i gain the sadder I am. Wah Wah Wah." His rant was by no means meant as a physics lesson or list of laws and theories of the day.

  • The sun does move. It's part of the expanision of the universe. The earth rotates around it's axis, it rotates around the sun and the solar system is moving. As a result, you're never in the same place twice even though it appears that way.

  • @jamespiperca i think he ment from the earth's point of view

  • Great work dude! Love it! 2 thumbs up. That'll keep them mouth shut.

  • @CelticValdyr "who are you to make the assumption that the Ecclesiastes and Psalms were intended merely to be metaphor?"

How did you come to the conclusion that I'm assuming that Ecclesiastes and Psalms are intended as metaphor? I discussed the underlying Hebrew words in a literal sense and you conclude I am arguing for allegorization? Hmm... well, so much for this understanding based on personal observation of evidence that you touted so strongly.

  • @CelticValdyr To clarify Celtic, I said that since the books are poetry, metaphor will be used. I didn't say that an allegorical approach is to be used throughout.

And please explain how I 'made the evidence fit the hypothesis". I merely showed the definitions of the original Hebrew words.

And to answer another of your questions, God guides his people in diverse ways. However, the only way which is not partly subjective is through Scripture, which prophecy proves to be the Word of God.

  • Solid argument and calmly presented. Outstanding!

  • I believe your ideals. Your vocabulary enlightens me to an extent in which I find myself not believing that I'm on Youtube. I believe a god doesn't exist because if there really was a god I don't believe he would enjoy taking all my hard earned money the way these church's do so easily with a smile on their face. I believe my actions affect the present. I believe people are like clocks. When clocks work it represents out life. When they break they stop all together.

  • Your whole argumentation against religion, even some of your quotations from our founding fathers is a great example of how to prove your point by quote mining.

King Solomon, under inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Man likes to pretend that he's smarter than God, because his deeds are wicked and he does not want to submit - but the end is death

  • @boan000 You are suggesting that one should shun understanding based on personal observation of evidence but instead trust that an omnipotent being of which there is no evidence provide personal guidance. How is this guidance received? Revelation? Define this process. Another man's voice (clergy)? A voice within your head (right brain)? A jumbled collection of 2000 year old (poorly translated) Aramaic script? There is no pretending on our part, only on yours.

  • @boan000 You're gonna take King Solomon's word rather than the founding fathers? I'm not claiming that one is better than the other, or smarter than the other, but several thousand years of knowledge and progress counts for something. That's why I don't ask my grandma what sort of digital camera I should buy. I get better answers from teenagers, because they've done some research and have the experience to know what the hell they are talking about.

  • The Hebrew words for 'established' and 'stable' can mean 'ordered' or 'ordained'. In this sense, it does not contradict an ordered orbit. The Hebrew word for 'moved' in one of its meanings is 'to be out of course'. That also fits perfectly with an oredered orbit. Eccl 1:5 is a lame example ... even today we say that the sun rises and sets! And remember Ecclesiastes is a book of poetry, as are the Psalms, and proper hermeneutics means interpreting them w/ the knowledge that metaphor will be used

  • @boan000 This is a great example of making the evidence fit the hypothesis. The word 'stable' can also mean 'structure to house livestock' and you would reasonably argue from a contextual standpoint that this was absurd. Your defense of the unlearned men and their scribblings on the structure of the solar system through semantics is also absurd. We also use terms like 'Wednesday' and 'Thursday'...do you still believe they are sacred days to the Germanic gods Woden (Odin) and Thor?

  • You're making a serious error right from the beginning. First of all, a democratic republic is not ruled by the majority, it is ruled by law. You, along with the creators of South Park, are confusing pure democracy (mob rules) with the representative democracy we have in the US, where the public has an impact on its government, on those who represent them.

Secondly, your examples from Ps 93:1; 96:10; and 1 Chron 16:30 do not prove the Bible wrong. Look at the Hebrew, and it is obvious.

  • @boan000 And finally, who are you to make the assumption that the Ecclesiastes and Psalms were intended merely to be metaphor? Are you not violating King Solomon's wisdom by pretending you know more than God?

  • Read my book :"Darwinlandia" in internet.

  • I liked every inch of this video...par the part about law. This message, precisely what I try to convince my peers, of course with a different choice of vocabulary, needs but one thing to gain my support...anarchy. Now as a man of science you're lible to jump straight to the chaos theory and whatnot, but what I'm suggesting, ridiculous as it seems, is structured anarchy.

  • evolution is a fact. the THEORY of evolution tries to explain how evolution works. while many scientists may propose different theories none doubts the existence of the fact of evolution. that would be like claiming einstein understood newton's theories of gravity were incomplete, he didn't say, I don't believe in gravity anymore. of course not, gravity, like evolution is a fact. he simply described a much more complex mechanism by which it acts.

  • well the sun moves too. it too spins on its axis and orbits around a supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy :P

sorry man, I know what you mean.

  • "As the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion..."

From Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli 1797. Unanimously ratified by the U.S. Senate and signed by President John Adams.

  • Oops sorry! Just noticed that you pointed out my heliocentricity point !!

    Anyway - Great video!!

  • Not to nit pick - but the sun does also move, though not relative to the Earth. It orbits it's own axis ans with the greater galaxy! - But then you probably knew that and didn't expect anyone to be small minded enough to mention it??- Lol!!

  • Religion is an anchor for those who need it, you shouldn't toss your opinions around like fact. This is closed-minded and full of holes. Some things are interesting in your argument but what is the point you are trying to get across? Religion is wrong for people? Of course the majority isn't always right. Humans are illogical beings for the most part. "The sun rises and the sun sets and hurries back to where it rises" - Not many believers take the bible so literally. It is meant to guide.

  • @BordumSux2 I believe his only pointis a very simply a direct one. that what is taught in science class should be based on... well you know science insead of of ancient myths out of a 4,000 year old collection of books.

how can anyone possibly disagree with this? where are his holes?

  • google Doe's Account, mindblowing stuff

  • Greet video!

  • your the man thank you for this video

  • "The sun does not move" is not right either...

The sun is in constant turmoil...

  • This is true. Everything within our galaxy is moving. This is a great video though.

  • We are a Constitutional Republic. The Constitution is supposed to protect the minority from the majority.Democracy is mob rule and can be just as bad as a dictator. Look at some of the qoutes from the founding fathers on Democracy.

  • very well done.

  • Children need comfort from their parents and naively dream about fantasy worlds where lions munch on carrots. We the rational who run society must take care of those who have been raised into false believes. Religion is today a clear sign of weakness and has its greatest days behind it. While it slowly fades away please overlook these morally weaker simple-minds hatred. Guide them from the thievery, child abuse and the murder their ancient inconsistent holy books so clearly permit them.

  • You should post more videos man! I think you make valid points and I completely agree with your views. Keep it up man!

  • HINE-rick (pron.) Ibsen.

  • great video!...one of the best i have seen on youtube...you back everything up...this is exactly how i feel...i would like permission to use your video in my school presentation

  • Please do. Thanks.

Just make sure to point out the the sun DOES actually move (as do all objects in the universe). :)

  • @JohnFrum999 first 24 seconds you are already wrong. Didn't even watch anything further, and already had to correct you. We are a constitutional republic. If you look at the history of the founding fathers, they hated democracy, because it is mob rule. They wanted republics set up by the people, but not infringing upon the individuals rights. Under the Constitution the individual is the most important part. Then the City, State, and finally the Federal government. That is not a democracy.

  • @JohnFrum999 Now, about evolution. It really is an incomplete theory. Darwin knew nothing about a cell. how complex it is. Answer the questions, where did the digital information come from within DNA. Was that really a trail by error?

I am no Christian, Buddhist, Jew, or Muslim, but i find it funny that evolutionists reject any theory, that challenges their own. Just like any religion. People find what they believe and stop challenging. This sets us back not leaps us forward.

  • Evolution isn't PROVEN. Nothing is 100%.

People don't even agree that anything in reality exists.

  • Go, Go JohnFrum!!! America should be called:

"One nation under truth" not "One nation under God"!

  • Have the evolutionists fully read Darwin's 'Origin of the Species'?

Darwin himself says, "To suppose that the eye, with all its inimitable contrivance for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest possible degree." Darwin, C., The Origin of Species, John Murray, London, p. 186, 1859

    Read it yourself.

  • Go on and read the rest of the quote, this a classic quote mine. Darwin then goes on to explain how the eye evolved. So you should go read it yourself just below where you finished your quote mine.

  • Why did you stop there I wonder? Let me continue the rest of the paragraph for you: "When it was first said that the sun stood still and the world turned round, the common sense of mankind declared the doctrine false; but the old saying of Vox populi, vox Dei ["the voice of the people = the voice of God "], as every philosopher knows, cannot be trusted in science. Reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a simple and imperfect eye to one complex and perfect can be shown to exist,..."

  • "...each grade being useful to its possessor, as is certain the case; if further, the eye ever varies and the variations be inherited, as is likewise certainly the case; and if such variations should be useful to any animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, should not be considered as subversive of the theory." -same page, Charles Darwin.

It looks like someone has not "fully" read it indeed.

  • When you atheists have fully read the Bible, get back to me on that one... this video quote mines the Bible worse than any offenses on here.

  • @chrisbraly Isn't that what every christian does when trying to justify something based on the bible? I mean, you must admit there are a lot of contradictions between books. In the Old testament, there are a lot of people being stoned, but in the New, Jesus protects a woman from being stoned. Same with homosexuality, in the same book as the reference to homosexuals being evil it is also called a sin to eat shellfish. Why aren't christian boycotting Red Lobster? Because they cherry pick too.

  • The old testament (Adam & Eve, 10 Commandments, Moses) & the new (Jesus, Revelation, Love one another...) are related, but different.

The Old involved external religious ceremonies, sacrifices, and stories. The New focuses on Jesus's teachings, and the soul, teaching Christians to demonstrate His love in a righteous life, sharing the love of Jesus Christ and expressing it in your love for God & fellow man.

Christ's blood covers our sins - food is not an issue: Collosians 2:16 & Romans 14:14

  • @chrisbraly: Tell you waht. I've read the bible. I invite you to read Darwin's works.

You're good at assertions. Where's the evidence?

  • looks like someone decided to quote mine:D

im guessing you didnt read past that quote did you:)

  • ur not giving an honest effort to find out whether the bible is true or not theres lots of evidence do your homework

  • was it not copernicus that showed the earth revolves around the sun and not galileo?

  • if we had a place to gather each week, we could be as powerful as religion. stupid people can flock to church and get pumped up on bs every week.

  • Johnray - Evolution is a theory that is founded on facts and it has been prooven to explain diversity of life.

  • The living cell is one of the major difficulties facing the theory of evolution. It cannot even be synthesized in the most advanced laboratories of the twentieth century.

Amino acids, building blocks of the proteins that make up the living cell, cannot build such organelles in the cell as mitochondria, ribosomes, cell membranes, or the endoplasmic reticulum, let alone a whole cell. For this reason, the claim that evolution by chance remains the product of a true fantasy based on imagination.

  • @chrisbraly: You're right, but the organelles are not the essence of life. The essence of life is reproduction. That doesn't require all the fanciness of an eucaryotic cell: organelles, or even a nucleus. Just an organized body which can divide to form two bodies indistinguishable from the original; which in turn can divide. If that can be shown possible to build in a lab, then evolution can begin building from it.

I think we're nearing the day that will be demonstrated in a lab.

  • you dont belive in evolution, or any of the vidense that supports it? so the fossils, carbon dating, dna, all that is wrong? and yet, you believe words written 5000 years ago? uh-huh...you dont question a single thing in the bible?like, REALLY? im sorry for the questions, i just find it so hard to believe

  • Care to let us know which of "Darwins holes" haven't been plugged up by science in the last 150 years?

  • Mind pointing out some specific examples for your claim? If there are plenty of holes that have not been filled, surely you can provide some examples.

Also, gravity is just a theory. The only one who is ignorant here is the one claiming that a scientific theory is 'just a guess'.

  • You are conflating two different things. The observed natural fact that life evolves, through reproduction with variation and natural selection, and the theory of evolution, which transcends and explains those facts.(It also has a strong mathematical and information theory basis)

Even if you were to falsify the theory of evolution, the fact of evolution would remain and would have to be explained by any new theory.

No need to attempt to glorify your superstition by calling it religion btw.

  • Well done.

  • although i do not agree with all of your points i do say you gave a very intelligent argument. they were well referenced and polite.

your arguemnts remind me of a journal called "self reliance" it states that you should use reasoning in pretty much everything. in other words, science and religion, history even facts them selves cannot be trusted

  • As a typical creationist, beaversarecoolallways shuns reactions, and pretty much censors his own video. Seeing the description he put in his video, he did not understand evolution at all, and did not know anything about Darwin and his severe anti-racist stance.

  • Great, so you lowered yourself by quote mining ? He was describing how natural selection could give conditions where a species does not change, because it's form has come to be suited perfectly with its surroundings. This quote you gave is as allways in the case of quote mining, incomplete and deceitfull.

  • oh no you are incorect it is a PS from a letter and admits that the theory (not fact )canot be proved

  • I applaud your video it is well put together and backed with facts. thank you.

  • Actually the sun does move.

  • Yep. I know what he meant, but it was stated inaccurately.

The sun is moving around the center of the galaxy and the galaxy is moving through space. It is just on a MUCH greater time scale and harder to witness in a day, week, month, or even lifetime than the movement of the moon around the Earth and Earth around the sun.

  • And the gravity of the planets causes the sun to wobble ever so slightly.

  • I was being a little bit facetious - but it's the sort of thing that a theist could jump on, purposely missing the bigger picture.

  • How can people be so blind believing in a CULT called God and a comic called Holly Bible.

  • I love this video. I had to come back and listen to it again. Thanks for posting it!

  • the video you are responding to is a joke. I am not even sure the authour favours one school of thought over the other.

More like entertainment then anything else.

  • evolution in animals, yes.

    people, not really

we were never neanderthals or homo erectus

    Genesis....

  • evolution is a fact in humans, you lack the mental capacity to understand it. Blacks were here first,.whites evolved later. Today,..2 blacks can give birth to an albino white baby,...2 whites can never give birth to a black baby,..does this tell us something?

  • Look, my faith in the Bible restricts me from further pursuing this,

I can't believe in this stuff -The Bible is true...

    Watch VenomFangx

  • are u talking about the same venomfangx who was clearly debunked by thunderfoot and the amazing atheist?? here is a video for u since your female.

.search [gogreen18 why atheists care about your religion]

  • (Since I'm female? Anyways I'll check this out. This is going to be interesting!)

look, I don't want to offend any athiests or anything.

    I Simply believe the Bible.

  • oh I see... forget the question in parenthesis,

  • actually two white parents just gave birth to a black child not too long ago.. some time this year. soo.....

  • Heliocentrism is a theory.

    Gravitational pull is a theory.

    Pythagorean logic is a theory.

    Evolution is a theory.

To choose not to believe evolution because "it is only a theory" is to say that you should also not believe that the earth revolves around the sun, the moon has no reason to orbit the earth, and all of our buildings are founded on faulty construction.

  • Yeah its striking that the only theory people choose to call a 'controversy' is the one that directly disobeys the Bible. If the Bible mentioned 'intelligent falling' (wiki it if you don't know what I mean), theists would be banging on about that, despite no evidence in their favour that stands up to half a second of scientific scrutiny.

  • We listened to Thor way into the 10th century:) In Scandinavia i mean. It was not before the bible. Just wanted to point that out.

  • Excellent video!!! US needs rationalist like u!!!!

  • Great video mate, nice too see someone talking sense.

  • Awesome video.

  • Which version of Creation in the Bible do you like best?

    Genesis Chapter ONE,

in which humans were created AFTER plants and animals?

Or chapter TWO, in which humans were created BEFORE plants and animals?

    Chapter ONE,

in which man and woman were created at the same time?

    Or chapter TWO,

in which man was created before the plants

and woman was created after all the animals?

  • A minior correction of sorts, the sun does in fact move, it just doesn't seem to move relative to us. It still rotates and moves through space like everything else in the galaxy.

  • That's very good man.

it's not surprising to see that so many people don't like that theory. A part of the brain is responsible for the "religious" perception of the world, ironicallly that's the result of evolution too. it is proven that religious people are generally more happy than non-religious.

To believe in something make the mind in peace. That's...evolution !!! ;-)

  • Happiness in intelligent people is the rarest thing I know. Ernest Hemingway.

    Oh, and ignorance is bliss.

  • It's the power of thought. Going beyond.

  • Nicely said, John. If I ever make it to the USA (from Australia), I'd like to buy you a beer.

  • nothing in science is ever "proven." do not use that word. a theory is a hypothesis that has been tested a many many many times by many many different unrelated people and has never been found false.

  • VERY NICE! good to see someone talking sense.

if only ppl are more open-minded, and debate without their ego on the line.

Its sad on people who claims to be Christians dont follow the example of Christ. You dont see Jesus holding up the Bible and judging and attacking non-believers. Jesus would be ashamed of most of the Christians today.

  • @jonnyFrum999:

the sun does move. the granitational pull of the planets, though minute, causes a small wobbling movement. also the sun (and he whole solar system), moves around the center of the milky way. lastly the milky way is moving about. in the end, nothing remain stationary; the sun's immobility is "relative" to out position on earth. thats the theory of relativity (which particular one I don't remember).

other than that, even as a muslim, I agree with you on your points 5/5!

  • Hmmm...the one thing you didn't hit that this thoroughly mind-numbing South Park rip off tried to spout--a point which I hear from many, many theist types--is this truly bizarre notion that we aren't held accountable to somebody for our actions.

There's a judicial branch of the government FOR A REASON. We're accountable to other people for our behavior; we have police officers and judges and prisons for that purpose. Yes, the system is imperfect, but it's still THERE.

  • There's EVIDENCE for evolution, and there's only books that make claims which are NOT backed up by facts in support of creation.

    Therein lies the difference.

  • If you think that creation should be taught then I guess you'd be fine with the Qu'ran's version of events. Or how about Hinduism? Or will only "your" god do?

  • "evolution should not be taught as fact, and if it is, they should be able to teach creation as well. Simple."

since we can watch short lived organisms evolve

    evolution IS a fact

there is not a single verifiable bit of physical evidence that a deity of any kind created the universe

if theists believe that God created ..it's thru faith not evidence

the problem is that science runs ONLY on evidence ...

    im a christian BTW

ill advise you to learn the difference between theology and science

  • I'll not ill

  • Brilliant!! Thanks John keep up the good work..

  • One of the most important aspects of scientific theory that is often ignored is that it has to be disprovable. In other words, it has to be open to being proved false. This is what makes scientific theory so powerful. By the time an idea has reached theory status it has been very rigorously criticized.

That's my problem with religion, it offers no such falsifiability.

  • i am very impressed with this presentation- exceptional work.

if 95% of the world were not brain washed with religious ideals, id say this video would make a difference to anyone who watches. hopefully there will be more people like you in the future.

  • very good, it was great. Keep doing this

  • This is a very collected, thoughtful presentation. Well done.

  • The pope accepted evolution long time ago, even the big bang (check wikipedia). I dont understand how most americans still dont....

It creaps me out to see so many retarded fundamentalist out there...

Btw the sun does move =P

  • Fantastic video!

  • You have excellent, logical points. I agree with everything you said. :)

  • There is a book comming out in 2010 called Anarchy Evolution, written by Greg Graffin It's about being a naturalist as aposed to the other religions out there. There's a very short youtube film on it.

  • watch this Dawkins vs. O'Reilly, Analyzed

  • wow..EXCELLENT!! i agree 100% this was just brilliant couldn't of said it better! i have no real reply just wow that was excellent and this is pretty much what runs through my head all day just thinking about science and why religion is wrong and what they've done wrong

  • Very well researched. I bow down to you John. I wish more people would open their eyes to this o.o sorry, the earth most definately is a sphere guys.

  • Very well said. Fav'd!

  • Bravo.

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

  • Great vid man, great points.

    I'm soooooooo sick of creationists.

We prove creationists over and over again, and yet they still bring up the same old arguments.

    * sigh *

  • your eyes bother me. but thats ok. they work for dramatic effect I guess.

other than that, a good video.

  • I know that he doesn´t exist.

  • God and science is totally different.

its like saying "prove evolution spiritually."

    its doesnt even make sense.

there is no way of proving or disproving God's existence with science.

    agree?

I know that God is true.

  • "God and science IS totally different."

    Couldn't have said it better.

  • well, God created everything

and we research what created and we call that science.

but God and science is not on the same level

    (to clarify for you.)

  • If you call an elephant's trunk a leg, is it a leg?

Of course not. Just because you call your beliefs science, it does not make them so.

  • blithium:

that was a stupid comment not worthy of a reply.

  • Or is it simply a comment you have no response for?

  • "Just because you call your beliefs science"

    when did i do that?

    I never did,

therefore commenting on your irreverent comment is a waste

  • "well, God created everything

and we research what created and we call that science."

  • Yea,

RESREACHING *what God made* is science.

Finding out what we dont know.

I never said Christianity is science

you should really read comments before replying to them

  • Alright, you're right. I misread the comment. My appologies :)

  • I don't understand how anyone could actually think that "Why Darwin's 'Evolution' is a 'Bad Thing'" provides valid arguments and bars the teaching of evolution.

UGH and you're right, people actually need to know what "theory" means in scientific terms. A hypothesis is what they're talking about, theories are a web of facts strung together.

  • Loved your video man. clear and solid as water.

Glad to see that a lot of people do not fall for this fake christian morality anymore.

  • what the hell is accountability good for if you only have to say the magic words, I repent and accept jesus, and go to heaven. You are still no paying for your sins. It is sort of like a religious bail out. what if the bible was proven scientifically wrong, would that be the end of christian morality.

the only thing that´s keeping them from murdering someone is a book that prohibits them to. Morality that comes from fear.

that is not morality, that is fake morality.

  • i actually thought "Why Darwin's 'Evolution' is a 'Bad Thing'" was satire, mainly because of how much i laughed at the mentally handicapped argument it tried to put across against evolution.. then i read the guys description and relised it wasnt satire.. i laughed even more..

  • humans have to put a human face on everything god is just this interperitation on the origens of man and like thenotion the earth is flat this should be removied from schools and not forced down the throughts of young people

  • i thought gravity was a "law"?

  • bigcatz-

    Actually, no. It's a theory.

  • i am awsome the makers dog is awsome the maker is awsome and you guys suck alot....... and we are all awsome people all said

  • Very good video. More of this type of stuff please!

  • "Great video.

You remind a little of Lars Ulrich though. Can you play drums?"

Haha! I didn't even notice until you said that.

Great video, man! Love the quotes from the founding fathers.

  • The sun moves along an arm of the Milky Way. Other than that, excellently put.

  • Great video.

You remind a little of Lars Ulrich though. Can you play drums?

  • Great quality

  • The sun moves through space also. The Bible also says the Sun is not a Star. It is scary how many people with science degrees who do not believe in Evolution. Religion blinds them.

"Science without Religion is lame, Religion without Science is blind" Albert Einstein

  • Excellently put!

  • thank you

  • There were people, once upon a time, who seriously worshiped Zeus and Thor and thought they were true gods. In the eyes of an atheist, a Christian looks like they're worshiping a god that will someday be a comic book hero.

  • Thor was the Norse God of thunder before he was made into a comic book hero. And as for Zeus, the idea of him existed well before the idea of Jehovah/Yaweh/Allah. And even if the Abrahamic god did come first, that still doesn't mean he exists.

  • Excellent video, I thought many of the same points when I watched the very cringeworthy video this is in response too. You articulated my sentiments in a much better way than I could have, and I'd like to encourage you to make more videos on the topic.

  • He should be stoned, immoral atheist fag!

    (Satire)

  • Fuck off You faitHead! (satire)

  • protectbodythetans, I was about to say the same thing!!!!

  • you're cute =)

  • The Bible was written by man and not God. Many Christians accept the Bible as the word of God, based on trust in the authors of the scriptures.

    Remember man can lie.

  • Scientist say that common descent is bullshit. Oh wait. you follow the majority of scientists that have been fully indoctrinated by our evolutioinists leftist friends in Academia. so Majority does rule when they agree with you.

    Got it

  • As the author clearly stated that this is a video response to "Why Darwin's 'Evolution' is a 'Bad Thing'".

You have made a mistake in equating opinion with fact. Scientist work on facts and not opinion.

The peer review process allow scientists present their finding so that they can be validated. The thesis is scrutinized by other scientist where the data and results are check, and possibly rejected.

Scientist do not vote on theories. This is something you obviously do not understand.

  • you are correct scientists work with facts and evidence. However, evolutionists work with observations and interprotation, interpolation, extrapolation, imagination, to create their fairy tale of common descent.
