You're very welcome... I have the CD & LP. That album won't be in stores, you'll end having to order it. "A Pauper In Paradise" (1977) was also great. That album had "One Night With You " on it, as well as "Black And Blue". Gino Vannelli was so underrated in my eyes. Glad i can help you out, though...

He was underrated! I think it had a lot to with marketing then. Being black I remember in the 60's we'd hear a black singer on the radio once in a while. Later we had Motown and other labels that played our music only. Then you didn't hear us on other stations. Its the same with Latino artist...Everybody had their own station. Thank GOD things have changed!! Gino was the start of the change....because like I said he performed on "Soul Train" which had usually only black artist. We're more open.

Well i was a kid in the late 70's when my uncle and aunt played Gino's records.. The first record i ever heard from him was "Love Me Now". He was'nt commercial or trying to sound like anybody but himself, that's why his music stands the test of time for any fan of REAL music. I do agree with your previous statement....

Hola Elsa, muchas gracias por tus palabras, desde que escuche esa cancion hace poco, en 2007 me hice fan de Gino y todo gracias a la primera cancion que escuche de el la Living Inside Miyself, asi que me puse a conseguir musica de este verdadero artista y em encontre con el album The Gist of Gemini, maravilloso, pero la cancion que mas me impacto fue esta Ugly Man, realmente me senti identificado y es que asi me he sentido, como el se siente en su cancion. Por cierto Gino si es Geminis.
