The Tanaka scope is not historically accurate, for your information.. It's cheaper though.

Check eBay once or twice a week and you'll probably find something. I believe DenTrinity just got a batch of Tanaka ZF41 scopes, if those are to any interest.

But its highly unlikely that you head explodes, Unless your shot in the head with a tank. Then i'm sure you wouldn't have much of a head, or body, Left.

@Ryan15T If you shot someone in the head with a rifle like this, the entrance wound would be small, a little bigger than the bullet, but the exit wound would be much larger if it passed through. If the bullet lodged inside the head, it would blow the entire backside of the head away; due to conservation of momentum and other physics laws, the energy of the bullet would transfer to the head and it wouldn't be pretty:P

I got my M-24/48 (Yugo Mauser Copy) For $100.

That was back when I worked at Big 5, so I got a killer discount. The bore was rusted, and the entire thing was soaked in grease, but I steamed and re-finished the stock.

Only two #s match, but It doesn't bother me much, as I bought it to shoot. I Polished the entire reciever and bolt, and I will eventually blue it again.

I'll confess it (was) cosmoed up and the finish was poor, but I've completely stripped it down, soaked the metal with mineral spirits and steamed out the furniture. I'm going with a linseed oil finish to make it "good as new", matching serial numbers, unmarred waffenamps, Erfurt arsenal markings and a '41 date. So yeah, you can get a -real- Kar98k off your ROTC cousin's retired Marine friend at a gun show.

Why would anyone want an air soft rifle? A rifle allows one to reach out and vaporize a target, hundreds of yards away, like throwing lightning bolts, they can be works of art. But an airsoft gun? Like throwing cotton balls, wiping your ass with your bare hand or marrying a dumb fat ugly chick, it goes opposite of all common sense. I have some nice rifles, and several I've posted, I wouldn't trade any one for an air soft rifle, fistful of cotton balls, or a fat ugly dumb chick.
