Yeah, but is was the Asmodians who tried to protect everyone.

Now, because the Elyos are basked in sunlight, they think theyre better, while the Asmodians accept themselves and hate the Elyos for their vanity and arrogance.

The Asmodians are the good guys, the Elyos are the bad ones.

Read the lore from both accounts, youll understand :D

Depends how you look at it, but in this game, Asmodians are the good guys, and Elyos are the baddies.

uh no. Even the creators of the game said that neither of the two factions are evil and their motives are deeper.

Both factions blames each other for the destruction of the Tower of Eternity, when nobody knows what really happened. The peace treaty was decided before Atreia split into two, so it's irrelevant. The Asmodians think that the Elyos arrogant, just like the Elyos thinks that the Asmodians were cursed by Aion.

What I was trying to say is, with most mmorpgs, you do have an evil and a good side.

However, in this, the Elyos are bad for their arrogance, thinking, because of their beauty, they're the blessed ones.

And because the Asmodians are dark, with claws, theyre percieved as evil.

Even though in the Lore, each side says theyre correct.

I was just trying to show, that appearance isnt everything, and Im sure this is one thing the game's makers threw in here, with making Elyos & Asmodians.

Of course, they're going to think they're the blessed ones. But so does the Asmodians who think that "behind the Elyos angelic beauty is evil"

What else suggest that the Elyos are 'bad'? What else did the Asmodians do that make them 'bad'? NOTHING.

This is obvious, and has been said by pretty much everyone who reads the Elyos lore and the Asmodian Lore.

Elyos are arrogant and self centered. Because theyre beautiful, they think theyre better.

They also dont accept anyone else (the Asmondians) because theyre not beautiful, theyre not bathed in sunlight.

The Asmodians wanna destroy the Tower of Light because they fought in the war for so long.

The Elyos want to destory the tower of darkness because they want to keep their beauty.

I'll say one last thing, because it's too hilarious to keep going on. It's the Asmodians who don't accept outsiders, they're fiercely loyal to their people, and they try to destroy each other's tower is because the abyss is widening and weakening whatever is holding Atreia in place, and if it continues everything will get destroyed. You can't get past that 'appearance' thing, huh? lmao.

The lore, Elyos or Asmodian, is biased, because of how each faction sees the events.

What cause are the Asmodians standing for? They're trying to destroy the Tower of Light in Elysea, just like the Elyos are trying to destroy the Tower of Darkness in Asmodea. Light and Dark are just two sides of a coin, but the story is in tones of grey rather than black and white.
