How do you make upfront and background tracks 'out of focus' so the center track is clear?

Also, how would you arrange two acoustic guitars? One guitar is more rhythm and the other would be more lead.

Question about the Stereo mic he using.. would you get just as good sound if you rig it to your camcorder as opposed to a EQ... and is the Rode Stereo Mic?

a.He plays way too hard for the guitar to handle

b.The sound of the guitar is harsh and shitty

a. Someone call this "expressive", and IMHO this is GOOD !

b. This "harsh and shitty" sound is from camera, not from control room \from recording. The volume of room make some reverb and "volume", and IMHO this is GOOD !

c. Recording setup is correct, I like it !
