  • What you mean by sucking your balls in is actually working the muscle which they control in Kegel exercises right?

  • I love listening to you talk bro.. truly inspriational, and full of wisdom. I feel so much more knowledgable on the whole when ive watched a video by you .

Thanks for all the knowledge you pass on to the like minded individuals out there like myself.!

  • thanks! i feel better already. i slouch my shoulder and my belly is pushed out. my whole upper body is angled downward and my belly is pushed out. is that because i have a weak back/hammys/abs? and if so, what should i do in combination with that awesome strech? thanks!

  • mad interesting book elliot. thank you.

  • thank you so much eliot

my sexual force is doubled now!

my wife says thank you too!!!!

  • suck my balls into my asshole? did i get this right? ouch

  • What about the cifosis? Can you please recommend some exercises for that? I have cifosis, hiperlordosis and dextroconcave scoliosis. Since i've started squatting and exercising my hamstrings i sometimes have trouble sleeping on my belly because of some minor aches in the lower back region. Do you think this is related to the posture adjusting itself?

  • wow i have this...

  • on point with everything especially the martial arts practices and stances and the many eastern philosophies

  • 07.30 im sorry, what?

  • YO! Elliot!! You recommend stretching but I haven't heard you speak about Yoga, what up?

  • SICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

  • I may be very immature but I just could not stop laughing when he said, "Your BALLS."

  • @Kane12693 Hahahaha, i'm dying from that too

  • Yo Elliot I am 16 years old 6 2 I used to be 220 when I played soccer but ever since I stoped( during the summer) I gained weight i was 268 before I started to work out( in February) I have gained serious muscle now I am 288 but I actually Wanna go down on the scale and my goal is to be 220-240 lean muscle I need ur help and thanks in advance.

  • @predato508 Since Eliot cant answer every question Ill help him out. Diet is everything. Dont eat fatty, or sugary or high sodium foods. Eat lean chicken, eggs and fish. Eat brown rice and whole grains. Gluten free is better. Do more cardio. Do more reps on your work outs. do things like push ups pull ups burpees and body-weight work outs. Its not a very detailed explanation, I can go on for hours but these are the basic ways to lower body fat and have leaner muscle.

  • nice shirt

  • Yo Elliot! My name's Devin, and I'm 14. I have a curved back and somewhat of what you would say is a hunchback, can you help me correct it? I have no idea how to, and It's shaved off an inch of my height. Help please!

  • Yo Elliot nice shirt where'd you get it?

  • Yo Elliot! I have a problem. In wrestling last year I wrestled at 140 lbs. I trained hard all summer and fall and thought I would be strong enough for the 152 lb weight class. Now that the season has started, I have realized that I'm a very weak 152 pounder. So, I really need to gain quite a bit of muscle (like 5 lbs of muscle) by february (the end of wrestling season). In wrestling practice we do Insanity. Should I be working out on my own in addition to that? what exercises should I do?

  • This guy is awesome... Nobody teaches this stuff for free and in such an awesome way...

  • Am I the only one who noticed the black and white photo to the left of the newspapers on the wall?

  • Great video Elliot! As an acupuncturist and chiropractor I could not have explained this any better. You are a true biomechanist and Zen master!

  • @JoshSonsiadekDC thanks josh... great to hear from you again!

  • Good stuff bruh! All this is dead on with my NASM CPT training. Thanks for putting this vid together.

  • so explain why your doing a vid, what ur strugglin to lift and what did lift ?

  • Elliott, when you're sucking your belly and all that stuff in, are you still slowly exhaling or holding your breath?

  • Hahaha he said poop :P

  • Tim Ferris talks about doing the same exercise in his book, The 4 Hour Body, except on all fours so gravity adds a little extra resistance. Is there any added benefit from sucking in your gut in an explosive manner like he describes?

  • Does this mean i should avoid strengthening the muscles that contribute to this posture?

  • Love the Deida reference! One of my favorite books. I get something new from it every time I read it.

  • Comment removed

  • how do you stretch your lower back?

  • I've read those books you mentioned. Another good one is Iron Shirt Chi Gung by Mantak Chia and he has another one you might be interested in also called something like Tendon Nei Sang. Check them out they should be on Amazon.

  • Lookin' lean!

  • Top notch info man, great vid.

  • Doesn't tight hamstrings contribute to alterior pelvic tilt? So shouldn't you be stretching hamstrings instead of strenghtening them?

  • @lolloxor no... posterior pelvic tilt.

  • @strengthcamp Yo Elliot i am 14 5'6" and weigh 143 pounds i am maybe 5-8 pounds overweight but i was wondering if you could give me a routine for strength and speed for football during my off-season. thank you

  • @lolloxor What a stupid question. Damn

  • Great vid Elliot! Bel

  • @BelindaBenn thanks :)

  • my favorite video from u elliot liked it alot very good info gonna start doin the tummy vaccums today nd gonna keep going till i get 15-20 reps for 10 sec holds :p thank u elliot

  • Is it possible to overstretch the already weakened muscles in a person with APT?

For instance, would including a hamstring stretch in my corrective stretching routine be harmful? Should I focus on only stretching the "tight" muscles until the postural deficiency is corrected? Thanks

  • HEY ELLIOT ! CAN I GIVE YOU A SORT OF CHALLENGE ? Why dont you try for a couple of months to go on a raw/vegetarian diet ? It's a challenge i am giving to myself, i want to see if strength/bodybuilding and raw/vegetarian diet can go on together. And i also want to see if it works with Strongman training.

It would be greatly appreciated if you respond to my comment ;)

    Grow stronger Elliot!

    Take care

  • Do you give people your phone number Elliot?

  • Thanks for sharing great vids!

I really think you are inspiring and motivating

I was really fit before my first child and I could squat, deadlift and stiff deadlift etc,but after my first child,my lower back could not handle those exercises anymore, now I am pregnant again(3 weeks left) and I really want to do squats, deadlift etc again,so I need to strength my transverses abdominus and core more.I did stomach vaccums, planks before, but I did not do them often, this is a good reminder! Thanks!

  • Sharing knowledge. Love it!

  • tldr: stretch and do stomach vacuums

  • iv got this thanks man

  • And yet another amazing video only this time you just answered on my question as I got SAME muscular imbalances. Thank you so much man, have no idea what we would do without you here on Youtube.

  • LOL ur shirt is awesome

  • Your candid description was just what I needed... never really "got it" before, but now I do! I used this core vacuum on my lifts today and I felt more energy, stronger lifts and quicker recovery between lifts. Who needs steroids when you have an iron core. Cheers elliot!

  • 1 person got muscle virus

  • hehe cock strong

  • This video helped me since I have hyperlordosis and also birth patella dislocation which was fixed years ago. As a result of dislocated patella's from birth, my legs are not straight and resulting in strong upper quads. i stretch the hell out of them and am stretching my hammy's and hip flexors. I fixed part of my lordosis in which one leg was longer than other. Now both are even which I'm grateful. Thanks Elliot

  • Yo Elliot! Do you do any westside barbell training? Or do you know much about it? Most elite powerlifters that use it are on steroids, is it effective with non steroid users too?

  • @gjk0020

is it effective without steroids, its more for people powerlifting in gear rather than raw.

  • how do I pull my balls in exactly ???

  • @CIarKent pretend you just jumped into a freezing cold lake!

  • I second the request re: intermittent fasting. Curious to hear your views on the topic. Cheers.

  • Hey Elliot, great video, I love the very holistic approach you use. Do the likes of front squats and ab wheel roll-outs strengthen similar muscles to the vacuum, or do they hit more of the external musculature?

WRT the vacuum you describe, I can seem to hold it for a while, much more than 5 seconds, so I think I must be doing it wrong...

  • Elliot Hulse probably fucks like a racehorse on its final stretch

  • yo eliiot....most yt material is all broscience, thanks for helping me with true strength and actually looking good

  • @dblockinit lol, i get called a broscientist all the time... i'm not even sure what that is!

  • @strengthcamp broscience is actually a derrogative term that is used to encompasses all the "bros" (commercial personal trainers, semi-pro bodybuilders etc) and their training beliefs. i.e the low intensity "fat burning zone", doing hundreds of sit ups to get a six pac and doing high reps for "toning" instead of "bulking". the claims aren't backed up by any concrete evidence, just anecdote. the so called "bro" usually looks really good and so he can't possibly be wrong.

  • @strengthcamp haha don't worry elliott you aren't a broscientist, you actually know what you're talking about.

  • Awesome video! very informative like always and this is exactly what I've been needing to do. Thanks Elliott

  • where the hell did you get that shirt? i want it

  • this was the best yo Eliot video you have every done !

  • how many reps for the stomach vacuum? and how many sets?

  • Love your Videos man! There always insperational!:)

  • Just what I needed Elliot! Thanks!

  • Very good info.. Look great..

  • Have you ever tried the stronglifts 5x5 program? If you have does it work?

  • @xMaNiiKx Dude 5x5 is a staple training method. It works amazingly. You gain size and strength.

  • @hellzblade44 Thanks man!

  • @hellzblade44 agreed.

  • how would women suck their balls in?

  • @adityajuneja7 how does a guy suck their balls in?

  • @hbeezey DUUUDEEE!!!! JUST CHILL!!! GOD MAN!! i was being sarcastic

    *answer to your question*

tighten your abs as hard as you can when your balls are hanging loose and you should notice them going up as you squeeze your abs(dont have to suck your belly in)

  • @adityajuneja7 for women, do kegel exercises!

  • 4:27 "Increase your sexual force. It may sound intere-- STRANGE" lol

  • what about stronglifts 5x5 program?

  • cool t-shirt!

  • Nice shirt Elliot! Lol Cock Strong!

    Elite FTS right?

  • The Vladamir 'Janda Sit Up' is probably the best exercise for combatting APT in conjunction with stretching. Elliott, i'm sure you know what it is, but for those that don't know, you anchor your feet (ideally with a partner) in the typical sit-up position, drive your heels into the floor very aggressively to activate your hamstrings, and then perform a sit up. the activation of the hamstrings de-activates the hip flexors and low back (tonic muscles in ATP) and leaves the abs to do all the work.

  • @ArCxlioN interesting post, thanks for sharing.

  • Our gym teacher makes us do the plank for atleast 1 minute to improve posture every time we got gym, but i got kyphosis by genetics, so in certain cases operational procedures is needed to correct the problem.

  • Elliott. You're a God. 'nuff said.

  • nice shirt. where can i get it?

  • How do you voluntarily suck your balls up? i'm having trouble figuring that out

  • @250blitz ask a woman, she'll know.

  • Wilhelm Reich was extremely controversial did you read his book the Mass Psychology of Fascism? I don't know whether he's crazy or a genius.

  • I've been using these techniques to help my posture and my lower back pain over the past few months, i've worked these into my training, my posture has improved greatly and the back pain which i had has gone!! Thanks Elliott!!

  • Great video Elliot.

Here's one for you - how do you feel about Intermittent Fasting? I've seen a lot of discussion on it of late, is it something you've experimented with?

May send you a video question at some point but throwing this out there now! Cheers man.

  • @mrcanavan I remember Elliot sending an email about Intermittent Fasting a couple of months ago. There was a link in the email that Elliot recommends.. hulsestrength . com/recommends/Fast

  • Yo Elliot i appreciate the daily emails man, very motivational. I would encourage everyone to sub to your emails and not only the youtube channel.

  • I like your point that most trainers will disagree with corrective stretches. I think most cookie cutter personal trainers read what they see in textbooks. And thats dynamic warm up and static stretch. But if you dig a bit deeper, the text just says you shouldn't use a static stretch unless your muscles are warm for fear of tearing the muscles. my guess is thats where the confusion came from. Do you do any dynamic stretches or activity to warm up your muscles before corrective stretching?

  • What are your thoughts in the Jim Wendler program?

  • @avatarcollides2day he said that once in another video, that he thinks that Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 is a great program

  • @avatarcollides2day 5/3/1 FTW!

  • @avatarcollides2day i like it.

  • Way of the superior man is an awesome read. Power of now is another, but somewhat unrelated to this video. I'm new to the channel and liking everything I hear, thanks Elliot.

  • What's the best routine for aesthetics? I'm doing a 3 day split with compounds, and im pretty sure its the best routine for someone who is natural. Would you agree?

  • I've got a question for you: how do I even out my muscles? I've got such a big difference betwen my left and right side in my upper body.

  • @ArtjomGlad

use dumbells and use heavier in your right

  • @skaterguy69666 So I should do heavier on the side I'm weaker on?

  • It's insane how many of your videos deal with problems I'm experiencing. There are many people that can save thousands of dollars in physical rehabilitation fees just by watching your videos.

  • COCK STRONG!!!

  • 3st
