Been thinking of taking my life lately. People say it's a temporary problem well it hasn't gone away at all and it's been 16 years. How does that not seem like a permanent problem. And I'm not tryin to throw a sob story out there I'll keep my reasons to myself just wanted to vent a little I guess sorry if I spark an argument
@MrSilentdeath69 I think we've all thought about it, just try your best to look at the bright side. I know it's hard, i'm hugely a pessimist, but there's always some sort of good in life. If you like music that's heavy, or can stand something a bit heavier I'd suggest looking up "Be Still and Know" by Machine Head and reading the lyrics along with it. It very uplifting and positive, I may get some of the lyrics tattooed on my arm as a reminder to never give up.

I threatened to commit suicide one night in an attempt to receive medical attention for what I have. All I got was a ride to the hospital and some bullshit on some so called help which got me no where. They kept me over night on suicide watch and then sent me home. I have accelerated nerve damage in my hands and feet and they won't do anything for me! I can't walk anymore without my feet feeling like they're on fire! I can't work anymore even though I try so hard. I want to help people so much!

The process to kill yourself doesn't happen over night in most, usually years of problems and pain/loss build up to bring upon that feeling.

Great song. It can mean so much, to so many different people. Not everyone experiences and feels music the same way, a song touches each person in a unique way. For me, this song has given me strength to appreciate what i have had, deal with the loss, and hope/live for new beginnings and experiences in life. Without the bad times, i guess we can never really appreciate the good times. atleast, thats the way i look at it to help to deal with the cards i was dealt in life.

I doubt that many other people have interpreted this song the way I have. When I first heard it I was reminded of my ex wife. But slowly as I have watched my wonderful daughter grow from a tiny baby girl to a beautiful young lady, it has come to remind me of her. She means so much to me, and it hurts to have to face the fact that one day she will grow up and go out on her own. Every time I hear this song and look at her I see that tiny child I used to hold and bounce on my knee.

I think it has everything to do with Scooter loosing a lot, but the beauty of COLD is how you can relate to it, loosing someone and still fighting for it. to have the strenght to get up after youve been knecked down so many times.

I noticed in the video hes drinking....Alcohol is never the answer to your problems it actually makes you worse ive been trying to get with this girl i love for five years she kept rejecting me then ontop of that my Grandad died an my Grandad was always there for me an i couldn't be there at his funeral Cause hes in Ireland an im in Australia I started drinking an the more i drank the more depressed i got alcohol doesn't help at all

I doubt that many other people have interpreted this song the way I have. When I first heard it I was reminded of my ex wife. But slowly as I have watched my wonderful daughter grow from a tiny baby girl to a beautiful young lady, it has come to remind me of her. She means so much to me, and it hurts to have to face the fact that one day she will grow up and go out on her own. Every time I hear this song and look at her I see that tiny child I used to hold and bounce on my knee.

@Necroliege sounds like you have a very strong bound between you and your daughter i thank god for that.. love is so powerful and to think god loves us much more than we love ours self's blows me away.. i mean you love your daughter so much you would never want her to leave because you would miss her.. that love you shared.. the lord is the same way he doesn't want us to leave his faith

I would rather have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. No matter who we are as a person, we are all the same as a whole. With feelings and emotions that make us who we are, songs like this make us really think of the past and the choices that we both have and haven't made. Thank you Cold, for showing us all a song that we can actually agree on

This song is like waves of sadness that crash onto the shore of my heart. I consider myself a stoic person, but it makes me want to weep for all things i didnt do, and all things i did do but shouldn't have. Haunting and beautiful at the same time. This song is my healness, I cry every single time I hear it like Fade or Epiphany of Staind. When I feel sad, depress, suicidal or angry I listen to it and I cab feel better. It's beautiful to see that only 5:00 can change and save a life.

I think it has everything to do with Scooter loosing a lot, but the beauty of COLD is how you can relate to it, loosing someone and still fighting for it. to have the strenght to get up after youve been knecked down so many times.
