YOU! You beautiful magnificent man have just helped me so much with those knight archers on the ledge. I'm a melee build and last night I spent at least 2 hours trying to do it, I almost convinced myself that I was too low level or my gear wasn't good enough. Why I didn't think of pulling the knight down I don't know but thank you so much for this video!

Kalloused- that's bad logic on the pronunciation. What of the words trough (pronounced troff) or tough (pronounced tuff). Pronunciation differs, and thats one name that can be pronounced in a variety of ways.

hey ZGR, in ur opinion in terms of damage, which one will deal more dmg? a fully upgraded pyromancy flame or a lvl 99 int mage?

@TheChaosKhan I know this was addressed to ZGR but I'd have to say sorcery is stronger too especially after they nerfed pyromancy quite a bit in.....was either patch 1.04 ir 1.05.

Think i died at least 20 times on those two knights on the narrow path there. In the end i just went berserk charged at the right guy and somehow managed to get him to drop off the edge and ran straight for the balcony so i could finish that part and move on. Played as a pyromancer but relied more on melee then pyro spells. A thief with pyro skills as back up more or less.

i was able to beat ornstein and smough on my first try on my first play through as a melee character just kiting smough around the room and hitting ornstein every time he lunges at me

@Lodestone99 No, he just didnt hapen to have internet connection. always play online. It's fun and half the experience

For the silver knights all I do is riposte them and that's the end of that. Tbh both sword and spear wielding silver knights are pretty damn easy to riposte xD

@TheDeatharcana how do you parry and repost.. or counter. i am fairly new

@STLouis314ification Pretty simple actually, as soon as they are going to hit you you press L2 with your shield and that is a parry, then you just attack with the normal attack R1 and that's it. Now while the sword wielding silver knights are fairly easy to kill that way I found that is easier to parry a spear knight when they do their horizontal sweep. Hope that helped =D

@STLouis314ification Yeah, I haven't tried it against those tree guys and the giant armors on Anor Londo but as long as the enemy is of your size and not a huge ass dude then it should work xD

the sorcerer class i started that was inspired by your walkthrough is now SL 80-something, 20v 19a 28e 16s 16d 9r 50i 9f. main weapons are velka's rapier, moonlight GS, MBH, logan's cat. and crystal cat. i'm currently at lord gwyn, but haven't beat the game because i'm helping another guy with a dex build in NG+ haha. thanks for the inspiration!

solaire isnt there for me, anyone know why?

@bubbles4buttons in order to progress the plot line of any of the NPCs, you have to have spoken with them at each area that they travel to in the order that they occur. solaire's plot requires that you summon him during each of the bosses that his sign is placed at, as well as speaking to him at each new location that he travels. i'd say that you may have failed to summon him, or speak to him in one of the locations that he appears, or maybe you didn't exhaust all of his dialog in an area.

I'm playing using a sorcerer as well. I'd like to ask your opinion about leveling stats. Besides the obvious INT, would you think it's better to focus on END or VIT ?

I was thinking about END as even though I may have low health I at least will be able to block most of the attacks without the enemies breaking my guard.

What do you say?

@vittorioviegas Honestly depends on your skill, if you're good at not getting hit and stunlocked then go with end. If you die alot, go with vit.

Don't forget that the tag for the Tiny Beings ring is that you regenerate health slowly, which is BS. Better to get the black firebombs to kill the inteo demon

Do divine weapons really work on skeletons? I have a +5 Chaotic Flame Great Scythe and a +5 Divine Great Scythe. The Chaotic weapons (even the Fire weapons) do far more damage on them.

@EnvyMizuhashi It's not about the damage it's about the fact that Necromancers can't resurrect them when they have been killed with a divine weapon. Having +10 Divine does work OK though damage wise (And if you have high faith).

@anaesthetics I see. I had to deal with the Necromancers entirely on my first playthrough and it was easy enough on my 2nd. Everybody just keeps saying divine weapons are the end-all be-all against skeletons.

@EnvyMizuhashi you can actually kill skeletons with any weapon on the catacoombs, the thing is if you hit them with any normal weapon the skeleton's health regenerates so its a tedious thing, or you can get a powerfull enough weapon that can just take care of them easily.

I mean I ussually use Ornstein's spear +5 and I can preety much take care of anything because its fast enough and you get the benefit of it being a spear

And...my least favorite boss fight in the game. Sure, it's suitably epic, but it also gave me the hardest time. IMHO, Four Kings has nothing on this fight.

you can also buy the armor's of the bosses from Domhnall of Zena but it depends on witch one you kill last.

@Zen1d Depends on the level... A level 50 Sorcerer can use a sword too... The Moonlight Sword... (Seath's tail)... You can completely own in pvp with it...
