About the stock thing. If you came from little and got a lot and a business friend calls you with some info....I would do the same thing. The law is so dumb, however she knew it was against the law and followed the advice. I dont think it was morally wrong but she got busted.

Oh come on. Martha Stewart engaged in insider trading. The rich giving secret information to their rich friends so everyone can get even richer. They are cheating so they can get just a little more. I think they deserve to go to jail. Women shouldn't get different sentences than men, but they should all go to jail.  Everyone needs to stop acting like Martha didn't do anything worse than jaywalking.
