I am a 34 years old and I have been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma stage 4b last may, I went through the ABVD Chemotherapy and thanks god I'm cured, now I am in a remission stage and I hope I'll get married and live a healthy life a gain, never give up and keep your faith
i have it too..i am in stage 2A, and i am under chemo..i am curious to know if all of you who had it if you had radio-therapy too..i want to get rid of this forever..to never come back..so, is radio-therapy necesary ?.. i am 27 and i want to live my life, to have kids.. thanks for the answer
I had Hodgkins 7 years ago and have been in remission since treatment. Never give up hope! I spent the months of treatment living a regular life, and aside from an occasional nausea, was fine. I hope all of you out there that are fighting keep your spirits up. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I think I have maybe cancer, my doctors won't help me they just tell me I need to calm down, I have had symptoms for a couple of months, It started with a swollen gland on my neck and then I started losing weight, now a couple of months later I have swollen glands in my groin and behind my ear, I also had a cold for three weeks that just ended and I am having troubles breathing, It's like someone is squeezing my longues, I'm so scared. I don't get anone to help me what do I do ?
Hodgkin's is usually very treatable. Doctors hesitate to say "cureable," but most people treated for Hodgkin's will remain cancer free after successful treatment. There is no form of Hodgkin's with a 100% non-recurrence or "cure" rate.
cancer is not curable in the sense that it can happen to people in any tissue at any time.

They say "curable" because the stats are really good for early stage Hodgkins. A lot of people never relapse again.
