From experience: Bridgestone Blizzaks are superior to slicks on dirt. Would have made up at least 5 seconds through the first sector had proper tires been used.

For a group that's done such a great MARCOM job, this is a real miss. An F1 car breaking out of a barn (wow, i guess it's a wild horse now) to drive an unfinished, dusty track in a place where all the recent press has been about drought and fire and the end message is "we're ready"? Really? Coulthard doing donuts in the dirt? The 16-year-old next door in his Nissan Sentra can do that. This is really bad. You guys can do better than this. Is this really the image you're going for?

Actually America does have more than oval track racing. We have plenty world famous road courses. And oval track racing is intense. You go drive one of those stock cars 200+ mph through the turns and not hit someone and tell me it isn't then.
