Thanks for posting this. Reminds me of childhood in Sri Lanka. Please, if possible, can you post the English lyrics. I cant seem to get all the words. Thanks.
wow great, its really wonderful to hear all those cool nice stuff, Thank you very much. hey you are really doing wonderful job. long live to you gooooooooooooooooooooooon
you are warmly welcome do more, this is so cool and nice, i can remember my father talk about all these guys, so i was really searching them and found your work. well done dear friend
You somehow surprise us with all these wonderful hidden gems of yesteryear. I had not heard of this song nor of the group before. What a wonderful history. Its sure is a nice song but may be the Sinhala song became more popular I guess, completely erasing the memory of the English version with other generations. Nice intro too and you are doing a great service by preserving these songs and sharing the information about the artists. Great work. Regards. Janaka
Thanks for the lovely comment. This was based on the original Mignone's Sinhala version. But I don't think that it had ever been introduced to SL. It is a 60s band by the Sri Lankans based here.
Thanks again for visiting and the encouragement !!
Very nice song and concur with Aruna on the blend of music there. I'm pretty sure my father has some memories especially with his connection of CT in the 1960s in the BBC.
Many thanks for uploading un forgettable music of yesteryears.
This is so beautiful...I like the guitar fillings...it gives a Jazzy effect....unlike the Sinhala version.......thanks a lot Jude for the song & for the information about the Family Affair..!!
I like the Mignone and Jetliners version better but nice to hear the English version as well. Thanks Jude
