@M1A1HeavyTank Because the Spirit of Fire is extremely vulnerable on the ground. The LZ is in the middle of 4 Covenant bases, and it will get torn up by all those small/heavy arms fired at it. Also, it can't get off the ground quickly, so it will be exposed for at least 5 minutes.

Well, obviously one got attacked by a banshee. That's why the Pelicans couldn't hold their altitude and crashed.

It may not look big, but it's mass may be great.

Plus take it that 2 Pelicans are flying with it. it's a extremely difficult to fly 2 airborne vehicle holding something.

i know how 2 cheat this level 1st build 3 supply pads & a barracks, next build 3 reactors and upgrade your marines to ODST units(note: this may take a while) now build an elephant and attach it 2 the reactor. this will open up the teleporter on the end of the map

drop an army of ODST at the end of the level. now just use the ODST 2 clear out the bases. you will need to drop more ODST's frum time 2 time

the problem was that if they called another 2 pelicans the fucking convenants would've destroyed em again and the damn thing would've gone off. thats why in the level we have to build an elephant, bring it to that weird place and all that crap. :)

i wouldve started by researching Twin Engines and the turret upgrades for the Elephant, and every upgrade for the warthogs. just my opinion

the way i bea this, if u dont mind me putting in my strategy, was to go straight for vehicles, i used a column of 6 scorpians, 3 wolverines, and 4 warthogs, the one commanded by forge, and the other three used by the spartans, i upgraded everything at least once, thoyught i did fully upgrade the warthogs
