  • You saw no fault, no cracks in my heart, and you knelt beside, my hope torn apart.

  • first video iv ever seen with no dis-likes

  • @AlexColquhoun1992 somebody didn't like your comment.

  • It sounds more like they're saying, " The Ghosts that I knew will flicker from view." Not flicker from you.

  • ide have to say these guys remind me of bob dylan with a beetles backround. they just r inspiration through voice :D

  • 0 Dislikes...just how it should be.

  • I think this song is about a man who has suffered a lot of pain and loss in his life, but his love for this one woman is what keeps him going: he asks her to take his hand and pull him through all of this, to give him hope, because her love is what heals him and helps him.

  • I think this song is about a broken relationship but also it a prayer, Im no way religious, but when you undergo such a sicking loss love that you wonder why you existence your last hope is to reach out to the 'light' be that be 'God' 'Buddha' 'Allah' mother earth, the moon, the stars or the powers that be. sometimes you just need to talk to others outside your own circle. do it! keep your chin up, life moves on slowly at first but sun will shine again, hard to imagine but it does.

  • @davidlyv It's about a couple in love but the woman (most probably) isn't sure of what she wants and the man suffers because of that. They probably go in and out of the relationship because of this, still, the man is determined to hold on as long as it takes.

  • amazing adele loves Mumford and sons too

  • Good song but what is the meaning of this song?

    Anyone help!

  • the replay button has been officially raped.

  • @ClaireluvsJed So has your mum

  • <3

  • this is the only mumford and sons song that i dont like all that much, the chorus sounds too much like the chorus of Lover's Eyes. i like the lyrics though.

  • Every website, and this video, say that the lyrics are "the ghosts that we knew will flicker from you," but I swear to God that makes no sense. Shouldn't it be "flicker from view"? o_O

  • @SammehLynn Perhaps it means that someone deceased 'lives on' in people? That they made a lasting impact on someones life, and perhaps their personality or whatnot resonates from a loved one?

  • This is what real music is! :D

  • the best part is 0:01 - 5:10 !

  • @archive303 Tasteless, wannabe 'edgey' cunt

  • @TheDarKnightxXx Go to Mcdonalds and and eat your batman burger.

    And cry.

  • @archive303 I have no idea what that means. I think you're telling me i'm mainstream and go with the crowds in again, a 'trying to be different' way. If so, yes we are different. I am not an idiot.

  • 1:13 aw! :) :)

    this song is wonderful.

Marcus Mumford's voice is just WOAH :)

  • Chills...literally. I agree with boleroboy, they outdo themselves every time, just when you think it is impossible to do so.

  • Beautiful song ! Isn't it amazing how every song they write is better than the last one. What a talented group of people these Mumford and Sons. What's more incredible is that they have fans across all age ranges - what band can you think of in the last 25 years that hs done that ? Words are so thought provoking and inspirational - Beautiful ! Thanks for posting this video

  • This is just great

  • Their second album is going to be AMAZING, no doubt at all.

  • Didn't think it would get any better than White Blank Pages. Mumford and Sons continues to impress me.
