Unlike most victims I followed through with reporting. After being brushed off by the police because they "lack evidence," I came to an interesting conclusion. The longer you wait before stepping up, the more likely people will believe you.
If you make the mistake of reporting it early or when a kid still, they will ignore you and think you are making it up. That's what happened to me.

It doesn't take faith to believe the theory of Evolution. You CAN put faith in it, but you can also take a few biology classes and start to understand it. What's in your head is "wow, that makes a lot of sense" not "wow, it sure would suck if this wasn't true and no one loved me or had a plan for me". Unlike most victims I followed through with reporting. After being brushed off by the police because they "lack evidence," I came to an interesting conclusion. The longer you wait before stepping up, the more likely people will believe you.
If you make the mistake of reporting it early or when a kid still, they will ignore you and think you are making it up. That's what happened to me.

yeah ... glad to face the demons , & it's only a few blocks from where I live , so good to reduce its' power . But this Spring at least 2 women from the runners group were pulled off the trail in broad daylight & raped ... so not a great spot for women .
