I was standing in the driveway of a customer's home in Moreno Valley, CA the 5.4 hit. You could hear the houses creaking & inner wood bending. It was so freaky.

I've been thru many quakes but this one seemed so spooky, car alarms going off, dogs barking and faint screams coming from surrounding homes.

when that earthquake happened I was talking on the phone with my bf and he lives in serbia. So he obviously didnt feel it but I was yelling and I was all like "babe!, The ceilings shaking!theres an earthquake happening babe!ahh!"...I was all screaming and a bit panicky hehe. and he just was a bit in shock to.ha its funny how things happen!

And Im hoping we dont have the "big eathquake" here in los angeles again cause I really dont wanna die. :(

LOL i wish i coould be in a earthquake i hav never had one and want to be in one but i liv in florida and the only thing i get is hurricanes an some tornadoes and now a hurricane is bout to hit me so everyone is freakin out cauz no one bothered to get stuff this year so my grocery store was packed with ppl panikin i thout it waz funny cuaz we havnt had a hurricane in two years an everywhere they say this is goin to be the worse season wen its not but now a hurrican is comin and now were screwed.

At least people know that a hurricane is coming. Quakes hit with very little or no warning at all. Although they last only a minute or so at most, they do rattle nerves.
