  • Shame that the bands genius never spread worldwide.

  • 1 person is a bollix

  • played this at a show in meath and it was probably the most receptive song of the night

  • I'll shine for you. I'll burn for you. I'll shine for you - that's what i'll do. ♥

  • seen them a few times in philadelphia, damn good, why is crosby gone?? am a straffan boy also

  • Eat your heart out, Ireland. I just saw them at the Handlebar in Greenville South Carolina for $13. There were about 300 people in the bar. They were amazing! Talk about intimate! I hope they get better known here so they can play a huge arena!

  • It's nice to hear an Irish band that isn't a bunch of hopeless do-gooders. Hothouse Flowers I'm looking at you. This is pure pop genius. Other bands wallow in joke rock, metal and whatever else passes for music in our benighted age, because their mosquito sized talent wouldn't allow them to try to do this in a million years. Punk, funk, rap, metal and country are submoronic genres for the brain dead.

  • gimp wot u talking about pricks face`s u silly gay cowboy

  • @houstonveer wow... what a pretentious prat.

  • @houstonveer That's a ridiculous, over-simplified generalisation...?

  • @houstonveer i wouldnt really call them pop with the awful pop groups out there, i know your point though they are class, ive heard them called indie , pop , alternative and etc. But in my view the best genre ive heard this band called is "new wave". they are one of the best irish bands out there if not the best at the moment but arent widely know which is a pity, their song tongue is my favorite . I love all their songs except the great defector which most people like the best

  • @houstonveer you absolute fucking idiot it amazes me the thickness of some people

  • @houstonveer ...punk, funk and rap has their own merits and pop isn't exactly a "perfect" genre!

  • gud song!i love it!

  • I hate when other people sing along but I love singing along.

  • My god, I so love this band. First song on Flock. One of my fav cds. SO FAVORITED!!

  • gr8 song

    gr8 band

was at dat gig. singin along makes a gig a gig

  • PERFECT SONG

  • iam from ireland and iam all for the sing along it ju makes de gig much better

  • I laughed.

  • what a voice!

  • Singing along at gigs is very popular in Ireland, we love to sing! It demonstrates our appreciation and adds to the atmosphere. I think it usually takes non-Irish bands aback when they perform here. Any requests by the band to stop the crowd singing is met with at best disappointment and at worst a riot!

  • i believe its popular in great britain as well, sometimes people cant help it, because they sing to it at home and stuff.

  • holy crap! just saw them on sat. in GA and there couldn't have been more than 50 people there. and the show was only $9. seeing this now i feel soo lucky!!

  • Too bad a singing crowd totally ruins the song. A little sing along is alright but the hole song? hahahaha is this a Hannah Montana concert?

  • Dude, check some of the other performances up loaded.... people talk through the act. Yeah I like to only hear the band during a song, but sometimes its awesome when the band let the crowd sing the chorus.

But the amount of talking at some gigs is ridulous and I'll take a mass sing along to the talking any day ... especially at Bell X1.

  • i'm seeing these guys at third and linsley tonight in Nashville. They're awesome, it's gonna be great! How come nobody knows them in America, we like rap and all, but we don't have the good taste for great bands like these! WHY?!?!?

  • We is a bit of a generilisation. I know a few Americans into Bell X1 and loads into Nightwish.

  • Love at first listen. I get to see them in Chicago at the end of the month. Yay!

  • this is great, im getting goose bumps everytime.

  • it takes time, america is always the last mountain to climb for euro bands, but i dont believe their a 1 hit band, and i hope they do gain popularity....fyi...david gray played at the point and blew the doors off!

  • absolute class song about a couple of homeless drunks !!!

  • they are sooo brilliant

  • Gosh I love them!

  • Check out flamne in Irish on the response above

  • I dont't believe in any old Jesus, if there was a God, then why is my ass the perfect height for kicking?

  • i cant believe how popular this band is everywhere else. they're really unkown in the US. they're getting more popular though.

  • Hey I just bought their cd in San Luis Obispo, Ca 2 weeks ago in Boo-Boo Records! I'm very happy with my purchase!!! Awesome Band!
