@EdM021 First of all gaza is about an hour and a half drive from the west bank. They arent even the same place, Gaza is southern and western border, west bank/jerusalem is on the east. Next time why not keep your mouth shut on topics you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

Point one: There is a big difference between "legitimate self defence and using minimum force required to restrain" and "mass killing at an 8 to 1 ratio". 1. minimum force according to the danger, yes. but when you are in life threatening danger, you should defense your self as best as you can.

2. compared to other countries in the world israel has a very high sensibility in not hurting innocent and to use minimum possible force (just see lebanon or now gaza: Israel could have wiped them out or kill thousands of people, but chose to go pinpoint.)

These checkpoints (and the fence) have reduced caveman terrorism almost to ZERO. The day the arabs stop being wild animals is the day the checkpoints will disappear. Until than, Israel will do what it needs to do to safeguard the lives of it's citizens.

they check suspects more carefully, not jews or arabs. i pass it dayly and it can happen that they hold an arab sometimes for 5 minutes or not hold him for 2 seconds. depends. also jews can be stopped for 5 minutes
