Such a shame! Unfortunately you have fallen victim to the "crapophone" scam. These are very bad "repros" poorly made and put together in India, I believe. Hope you did not pay too much for it. It's a nice conversation piece. That's about all. An authentic Victor WOULD NEVER look like that!
Thanks for the spin! The reproduction will be more natural sounding (and pleasant) if you play an acoustic (pre electric) recording instead of this 1940s disk. The diaphragm, tone arm and horn were not designed for such radically different electrical grooves.
