  • so was she the 1 originally wrote the song?? or is this like a cover because this was released in 2010 and the video was uploaded jan 3 2011??

  • I like this :3

  • i wish the writers would get more recognition. like ik they get credited. but still.

  • @jjgjjjgjjjgjjgjjg song writers and producer get recognition from grammys bruh and we get paid more then the artist like the producer gets 40-50% of the royalties and songwriters get about 20-20% of the royalties

  • @kadeemstanle i meant like from the general public.. like look at how many views this has compared to Rihanna's verison... lol.

  • @jjgjjjgjjjgjjgjjg But they're happy with that, they could use the song themself but they choose not to, because sometimes they're better songwriters than singers...

  • OMG is AMAZING

  • What?! Why does she give songs to other artists? She could become a singer in her own right!

  • @RhythmAddictedState staying behind the scenes means lots of money, no fame/paparazzi. She can still live an anonymous life, and be rich.

  • @ImtheJb I totally agree with you, but I just wish that she would get more credit, she really deserves it! :)

  • @TheDeal007 ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! For every song you just named, the demo was so different from Beyoncé's version. Of coarse they are going to sound similar bc what made her want to record the song is the fact that she liked it, so she's not going to TOTALLY change the song. But she adds adlibs, harmonies, backround vocals, emotion. Like, Rihanna did ABSOLUTELY NOTHINGG to this song, she just sang it EXACTLY the same way it was given to her... & there's plenty more videos on here of her doing th

  • Rihanna did absolutely nothing to add to this demo... she just sang the exact same thing. At least when you hear a Beyonce demo, it's almost totally different by the time Beyonce is done with it. SMH.....

  • @iNfAMOUs16210 Really? Listen to Ne-yo's demo of "Irreplaceable" and Jon Mclaughlin's version of "Smack Into You" or BC Jean's song "If I Were A Boy" and tell me what the difference is, because the songs sound nearlt identical. Beyonce didn't change much.

  • wow, this is soooo much better than Riri IMO!

  • gosh she got me at 0:47!!! my god amazing!!!

  • this girl does the best! she did beyonce's scared of lonely :)

  • OMG I did not know she wrote the song, I was jut think what happened to her! Wow, I'm so behind! Go cristyle

  • Its funny because Cristyle is the background vocals in Rihanna's track, Even though Cristyle wrote it!

  • She she have kept the song, rihanna made a millie off that song and he sounded like a dyin cow doin it.

  • Se should have keptthe sound, rihanna made a millie off that sound and she sounded like a dyin cow doingit

  • I wonder did she know it would be the sensation it is now when she gave it o rhianna???

  • OMG Cristyle Should've Kept this song for herself ! So much better than rhianna !

  • She hit the notes so much better than Rhianna when the hook came in.

  • So good. My god.

  • SO MUCH BETTER

  • i think it kinda wrong that rihanna gets SOOO much credit bue she really does nothing

  • she makes Rhi Rhi sound retarded love this version if i could i would download it lol Rhi Rhi version gets no airplay from me

  • AYYYYEEEEE

  • what a great voice! i love the demo version :)

  • They sould do a duet :D & then do it :D

  • Better than Rihanna.

  • and cristyle can sangggggggggggggggggggggggggg

she has to tone it down so much to demo a song for rihanna lol

  • oh finaly the "ride x pie" dilemma is gone. IT'S RIDE

  • She sound so good!

  • Rihanna just gets everything given to her like all these demos

  • lmao wow bravo i don't know who this chick is but she surely beats ester dean's rude boy demo lol

  • this song sounds more natural when she sings it

  • SO RIHANNA'S GOT NO TALENT OF HER OWN, END OF DEAL!!

  • @L0VEMUSIC09 Actually, she has vocal talent, but that's it... at least she can sing ya know?

  • she wrote a fucking amazing song!!! i love it so much!!!!

  • lmao all these demos just proves that rihanna has no control over her career everything is done and handed to her smh which is a reason why she can release so many albums w/o taking a break

  • @shiningstar021 True.

  • It's funny how Rihanna's songs always have their demo leaked. o_0

  • People are so ignorant on how songs are created, this is a DEMOOO!!!!! CRISTYLE IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER WRITERS IN THE INDUSTRY and can SANG her ass off!!!!! I love rihanna but she always gets MAJOR production, don't come talking shit about the creators!!!!!

  • RIHANNAS VERSION IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THIS BITCH!! AND RIHANNA CAN SING LIVE!

  • hey people truth be told rihanna has the looks if ester or this chica above but out the song it would not sell dont get me fucked up i love ester dean real talk but on the real its a win win for all right now am trying to sell my shit cause i tired to market myself and havent paid off so if i can sell my music and fed my fam than cool ppl stop hating

  • love this version

  • shouts out to christyle she's is one of the dopest writers in the game period!! and i stand on dat wun!!!!

  • Rihanna is pitiful. She doesn't write any of her own songs, and they all sound the same as the demos. If Ester Dean would put out the songs she does, she would be rihanna. And rihanna is not good at all live, sooo... :/

  • @Kooza2 I try to tell so many people this same exact thing!!!!!!

  • @dargankristopherj I'm so glad somebody agrees with me!

  • this is WAAAAAAAAAAY better then Rihanna im sorry but its the truth :D

  • why wasn't this her hit?

  • @Misana because "Christyle" is unheard of... she will have made a lot more money by selling the song to Def Jam for Rihanna. That way the song has sold about 8 million copies under Rihanna's name, but you'd never have heard this song if she'd kept it to herself.

  • so how does this work? They make the song and give it to the artist to see if they want it?

  • @reaper69316 most of the writers work for the label or producers and they write to what the producer's track and present it to the artist.. its ALOT of money to be made writing for artist.

  • @reaper69316 yes ;]

  • @reaper69316 If you're familiar with the saturdays, their song Forever Is Over was originally offered to P!nk and Kelly Clarkson, but the girls heard the demo and snatched it! XD It would be good to hear Jessie Js demo of Party In The USA!

  • @reaper69316 yeah, that's how it works in the industry, hahaha, Halo was supposed to be Leona Lewis's. But she was too busy to record it so Ryan gave the song Bey and Simon got mad hahaha. But u can also write your own songs, like Kesha, Avril, Katy, Bey and a lot of artists. YOu just need to be careful with what u write so people wont steal it from you and claim it's theirs. Copyright

  • @reaper69316 yes

  • @reaper69316 yes thats exactly how it is usually given to the label or the producer of the track. Most of these pop artists dont write a letter in their songs.............

  • @reaper69316 a lot of songs in the industry are written by people the public doesn't know about- the writers sell them to producers and label management to produce big time singers. But Ne-YO, Jessie J and bunch of other people are now singers of their own because they took it to the next step and made themselves famous.

  • @reaper69316 they write the songs and record it then sell it too the artist..they record a demo of it so the artist that buys it will know the tempo and exact pitch to sing at on certain parts of the song

  • @reaper69316 Thats exactly how it works

  • @reaper69316 Yep. Then the artist re-records it and adds in anything or takes whatever out.

  • @reaper69316 something like that. Sometimes they fish around hope an artist get it. Some songs are specifically made for an artist.

  • @reaper69316 I thought the same thing, They write it FOR the artist..

  • @reaper69316 basically...

  • @reaper69316 Yep, and then they get tons of cash and industry credibility if a big star sings their song.

  • @reaper69316 Yes, thats what song writers do they hook up with producers and submit tracks to the artist

  • @reaper69316 Exactly. Sometimes they write with a specific artist in mind, and if that person doesn't want it, the song is shopped around to other artists who might be right for the song. "Umbrella" was written by The Dream for Britney Spears, but she didn't choose it. Then Mary J and Rihanna both liked it, and bid for it and Rihanna won. Bingo: #1 hit!

  • i love it

  • i like itt

  • @MarshallDeMonsTar you mean "i like it like it" ?? :P

  • @JAESKOOL Ooops yea sorry , lol! I like it like it :P
