I had Archos 404 and loved it till the battery died, but thats my fault for buying it used on ebay. Then I bought the Archos 605 and I have had it since December 2007 and I have so far had no problems with it. But I do admit their customer sercive sucks.
for more great info on archos other products and there problems, empty promises, and horrible customer service log on to archosfans website and search the archos 5 and archos 7 internet tablet forums. Then go buy ur archos 10.
With the massive flood of netbooks on the market today, you have lots of choice, you should buy one that suits your personal needs, if you just want to surf the internet and do basic things, the a small, inexpensive netbook would be fine, but if you want to to more complex things, you will need to spend a little more money and get someting with a faster prosessor and more ram, the archos 10 seems quite a nice little 'book, but it is really down to what you want to do with a netbook.

I Had an ARCHOS Once and it was the 404 Media Player, and it crashed and had bricked my product. so I was not happy about the product.
I Wouldn't Waste my money on any ARCHOS
And I hope that ARCHOS 10 Netbook will be better then anything else.
